Lakers we were too full of ourselves. The team does not have capable youth at SG/SF positions to defend athletic swings. Danny/Lebron are going to keep getting exposed Defensively. Kuzma should be that guy at least a SF but hes too worried about scoring. We need gritty Defenders

If y’all honestly think Lebron is still the best player in the world…but never checks the best player on the floor? What a joke! Lebron need to play basketball or retire. He’s a horrible example of how the game should be played. He super slow on guarding the opposition but the MINUTE he see a fast break opportunity? He turn into the 25 yr old Lebron for the highlight reel. The guy’s a joke. Nobody even cared he broke Kobe’s record cuz Simmons was cooking his entire team. Breaking records used to mean something. Not anymore.

LBJ really playing below the rim now. 😔. Even the couple of dunks he had looked like they took everything he had in him.

Even with how bad the Lakers started out and without Javale, they brought it within 5 near he end.

They cant handle another lebron-type playmaker so the sixers shouldn’t be overlooked

Lakers do a great job of learning from losses and moving on to winning so i’m not concerned

This is a prime example of a game where nobody outside of Bron and AD, even Kuzma, did anything of note to contribute to the team…. exactly why I say moves need to be made before the deadline if they wanna be geared up for the playoffs. They need 3 things in order to win: more shooting, another playmaker off the bench cause Rondo is not it Im sorry, and its definitely not Kuzma, and more personally defense. I really think they should try to make these 3 things happen in order to fix it:

    1) trade Kuzma, Quinn Cook and Daniels for Bogdan from the Kings. Bogdan can do what Kuz does but be a much more consistent shooter and is proven to big a clutch scorer. His defense also isnt that terrible to be a liability either, unlike Kuz. 2) try to trade KCP and Bradley and a 2nd rd pick for Covington from the TWolves. Ik KCP has a NTC, but maybe they could offer him a trade kicker or something idk, but Covington would help guard players on teams like the 76ers, Bucks, Clips, Rockets, etc.. his defense is way better than both and he can also hit 3pt shots and would have tons of open ones w the Lakers.

And if they are able to at least get one of these players, they’ll have a roster spot to sign Collison for Boogie injury exception. He would be a much better 6th man, 2nd unit general than Kuzma and Rondo, and I would actually start him over Danny Green in the playoffs, but for now would definitely give LeBron the guy he needs along w Bogdan to keep the offense flowing when he’s resting. DG can come in and get hot at any time, and when he does play against better scorers in the league, it’ll be when they’re more tired instead of from the go. Lineup goes Bron Collison Covington AD McGee, Rondo Green Bogdan Dudley Dwight, Caruso. More defense and playmaking (scoring overall) in the offense, and nothing bit snipers off the bench w a ln experienced Rondo, and Dwight probably starts over McGee in the playoffs but either way you have a garbage man to clean up. And if Rondo is too much of a defensive liability, you can always play Caruso more instead of Rondo. But either way, I think they are much better going forward this way
