Disagree with this take. LeBron’s legacy at this point is his longevity, which makes him the GOAT in that argument. To retire now because he can’t win a championship and not because he can’t play just seem to hurt his legacy

    • @hristijandimitrovski8664

      May 7, 2024 at 1:54 pm

That’s not true πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚because he proved that he is GOAT in longevity since last year or two, he has nothing to prove when it come to longevity. But when it come to everything else… At this point, the more he plays and looses, the more his rating falls. Lebron in 2019 missed play off. In 2020 won championship, than in 2021 lost in first round, than missed the play offs, than played in conference finals and now he lost in first round again… Simply more he looses, everyone is just using those arguments against him and says he hasn’t killer mentality like Jordan etc, etc… Every player needs to know that when he starts loosing, that’s the time he needs to say goodbye.

  4. @user-xq5ct3gq2r

    May 7, 2024 at 1:49 pm

Easy to say coming from someone who has no legacy whatsoever

  5. @Marlobang

    May 7, 2024 at 1:49 pm

He shouldn’t retire. He should accept that if he wants a Max contract, their team won’t win a championship. Denver beat the brakes off them and the Timberwolves are making Denver look incompetent…to quote Stephen A…”there’s levels to this”

    • @KendaleStevenson

      May 7, 2024 at 2:58 pm

Or those younger teams are just up next and older teams like the Sun’s, Gsw and the Lakers just aren’t the same nomore and it’s the younger generation time.

    • @srtghost3842

      May 7, 2024 at 3:33 pm

The Lakers’ owner doesn’t have deep pockets… I can run down a list from not resigning Caruso, not really offering schroder a contract (according to him), trading away players for Westbrook’s soon to be expiring contract, not paying up for Ty Lue to be the coach, etc. The lakers are stuck on generating revenue off of Lebron and people still think winning is the top priority for them. LA is looking for the marketing story, that’s why they drafted Lonzo over Tatum too..

    • @cheryltunt6934

      May 7, 2024 at 4:24 pm

@@srtghost3842 they didn’t resign caruso because lebron pushed them to spend cap on his klutch client tht too. They did make an offer to Caruso but he asked them to match the bulls, they couldn’t without incurring a massive 30+ mil luxury bill and crippling the team especially now the new cba is out and is even harsher.

They traded for Westbrook which was the catalyst for their cap issues, because lebron demanded it. They actually had a really nice deal for buddy hield lined up and agreed to with the kings. Both kuz and buddy were informed and they were going to send it in to the league office when at the last minute lebron had a meeting with Westbrook then told the front office to get Westbrook. If lebron had shut up and let the front office work they’d have gotten a shooter in buddy, had enough cap for both tht and Caruso, and still been able to flesh out the roster with picks and cap space.

Lebron put them in a corner and left them with a roster of aging vets and no assets. Despite this the team has still managed to dig its way out and they’re finally there. They have several tradable players, 3 picks to move this off season and if lebron retires that leaves them 50 mil in cap to sign someone.

Minnesota is the toughest team Denver played even last year. They have 3 bigs that’s how u stop joker. Also Murray is on one leg

Notice how the Lakers have been in the play in games to keep LeBron relevant

    • @FloydWhoElseTV

      May 7, 2024 at 2:52 pm

No. They had the injury bug. For some reason Lakers always have bad injuries like the medical staff are fresh out of college

    • @hristijandimitrovski8664

      May 7, 2024 at 3:28 pm

@@FloydWhoElseTV because I think that if Lebron plays longer, his rating will fall more and more if he continues to lose. He already acomplished the greatest longevity of all time and we all know that there wasn’t player who played soo great for soo long time like him, but right now I don’t think that his longevity will matter after this season. All that would matter is wether or not he can win another ring to cement hinself as thw greatest basketball player of all time, but if he continues to lose, it will get only worse for his legacy.

  8. @ISOkeem13

    May 7, 2024 at 2:05 pm

I don’t get what Perkins is trying to say πŸ˜‚ he said LeBron didn’t take accountability then goes on to say how LeBron was trying to encourage Rob pelinka to make moves at the deadline because he knew the team wasn’t good enough…. It sounds like he thinks LeBron did the right thing by trying to get trades to happen so in confused with what accountability has to do with that part

  9. @ShawnHart-sp5we

    May 7, 2024 at 3:09 pm

Perkins is a fool, he was a below average player and he’s a below average commentator/media member.

  10. @hyaashiredd

    May 7, 2024 at 3:32 pm

This is why I don’t believe Perk when he fake vouches for Lebron just because Shannon is more committed. Perk doesn’t like the fact the Lebron just hit him with β€œon you your left”, overlapping perk with another season

One time Perkins is actually talking some facts. Lebron always gets a pass and no one ever holds him accountable

  13. @BelieveinChrist7

    May 7, 2024 at 4:06 pm

Is that fair to expect a 39-40 year old to win a ring? We didn’t expect MJ, Hakeem, Dirk, Kobe or anyone else to win rings in their later years. But we expect this for LeBron? That’s seems unfair to me. Just appreciate greatness.

  14. @timothyahn2006

    May 7, 2024 at 4:07 pm

That’s a shitty argument… If you make an argument like that about him, you can make an argument about MJ’s wzard years, Kobes last year, a lot of great players on their last leg who played a poor last year
