I MEAN YOU COULDA STEPPED ON HIM. not stomped but then again people like him are the type of people who do harm and then cry victim and by the way people who are saying this wouldn’t have happened to Shaq you all understand Shaquille O’Neal was a pretty dominant basketball player but he was actually a cupcake I mean Charles Barkley dropped him a lot of people have dropped shaq he can’t fight

It’s definitely Draymonds history that helped the league make this decision…., but it’s also the fact that Draymond, and all players, should know better than to disrespectfully egg on the opposing home crowd after a flagrant violent act when the crowd is hostile. You’d think after the Malice at The Palace, the league would make it a mandatory priority to teach players to not respond to the crowd in a negative light. Even when there’s hecklers like Stern and Aykroyd in the movie Celtics Pride.

draymond is arrogant and has an attitude problem. Usually comes from when you don’t have a real man/father there. Not saying he didn’t. And some people have father but they don’t do their job so, its hard to say. But Draymond is extremely ignorant. to be Competitive is one thing but. to keep acting like this. Honestly surprised he’s still here. He acts like he is above the law and that is a big problem. Fair play to Shaq if the player didn’t grab his leg nothing would have happened. But that doesn’t mean you hurt someone. A few months ago did he punch his teammate, in the face? Cmon now. Players are focused on everything but the game.

It’s assault, but he shouldn’t be suspended?

Don’t forget…Draymond snuck Jordan Poole at the start of the season. This is a pattern of misconduct/violent behavior.

If draymond doesn’t stomp on him then he don’t get suspended lol

Did he grab though? Looks like Domas just braced himself and leg got tangled up, result is he got stomped….move along, regular play in the 90’s.

Grabbing his leg he should expect a retaliation but its not a justification for being over excessive.. that being said, he shoulda stomped on him harder lol

Pretty obvious the NBA wanted to teach Green a lesson with a suspension. If Sabonis doesn’t play, it’s because the league is also punishing him but just without villianizing him.

so by this logic, an instigator can continue to instigate because if the player reacts “too harshly” that player will suffer a greater punishment. So there’s no reason for an instigator to fear strict punishment. Good job NBA, and this applies to all players in the league not just this Draymond situation

Draymond has been doing this for years, and you’re just coming to this realization now that it happened against him?

What Shaq selectively ignores, like a coward does, is that Draymond was looking down before he ever lifted his foot.

He was retaliating because he knew what Sabonis was doing, so he played like he had no choice to do what he did.

Lest we forget, if we’re playing the “retaliation is fair” game, then maybe he should mention how Draymond was backing into Sabonis on the sideline as Sabonis was trying to inbound, stalling the play. It happened before this situation.

This was the same thing. But you didn’t see Sabonis punch Draymond in the back of the head.

Draymond is a punk. Shaq would know. He is one himself.
