Oh how I love seeing all the absolutely clueless people who know nothing about basketball in the comments hating on Lebron 😂 I almost get mad and reply to some, but then I realize what I’m dealing with… people who don’t ever wanna bring in stats, people who just look at the final score of games, people whose only argument is “6-0”, people who went from saying the scoring title was uncatchable to it now apparently being “expected because he is stat padding” 🤡, only focusing on Bron and not seeing how trash the defense of the rest of the team is, I could go on and on and on. I get it we haven’t seen anybody doing what LeBron James is doing right now. Understandable. But the way the game is played there is less wear and tear on the body! If we add context to the conversation without all the banging that existed back in the ’80s Kareem with the most unstoppable shot ever probably could have come close to this! You see a lot of people talking illegal defense made the game easier back in the day. The thing is when there was a legal defense there was always rim protection. There is little to no rain protection now because once they change the illegal defense and added three in the key they just started getting smaller tall guys who could shoot to play the perimeter so now your centers are all at the three-point line! Scoring has gone up not just because there’s an influx in three-point shooting but also because there’s nobody at The rim once you get past your defender!

In any other conversation y’all we talk about winning and that’s the main thing. Unless it comes to lebron. We give him passes for losing because of his individual accolades. We did not do that for Tracy McGrady! People can’t wait to tell us how much Jordan was losing when he was averaging 37. And we discount Wilt Chamberlain because though he was probably the most dominant score in the history of the NBA.. he kept losing to Bill Russell!

Now with that being said I can’t get over the fact that even early on in the season you saw LeBron James giving up on a lot of defensive plays and never even getting back on defense. And it’s continued throughout the season so when you look at your leader and you see him giving minimal effort on defense that has essentially spilled over to this team! To the point that they don’t play defense. Week off conveniently forget that Houston regularly dropped 130 points against this Lakers team
