So…the MVP award is supposed to be for the player who has the greatest effect in lifting the fortunes of their team. It is NOT about numbers, as the Talking Heads are so fond of saying. To compare VW with SHA in this respect is no comparison. VW, who demonstrated the MVP chops in game 1 (41pts, 24rbs) brought his team from nearly ten years NOT in the playoffs, to the Conference Finals and beat the best? team in the league. He did it with style and at a skill level that SGA, not only, did not match – but came no where near. I offer this tribute to all of the sycophants who rubber stamped SGA as MVP. To see your faces after last night’s game would be priceless!!!
