What if after the all star break every game is worth more or less than others. If you win against a 1-4 seed you get 1.5 wins and if you beat 4-8 is 1 and anything after counts as a half win. Maybe also counts that way as a loss? That way top teams don’t just coast for the last 15 games

@Dallas Wood Your right, he will win! But if you listen to many of the high profile guys like Nick Wright and many others he is getting a lot of hate! Many of them are realizing he is winning but they can’t stand it.

Isn’t MVP is about narratives? Nuggets were already a top 4 team last year. Curry has come back from injuries and literally kept his team at 8th seed with only 3 players on bench and a supporting cast of G league players ..if that’s not a MVP performance then not sure what it is

None of it makes sense outside of the NBA getting more money. If you really want to do this play in thing, just call it the Wildcard game. 1 game. 8 gets in automatically. 9 and 10 duke it out for the 9th seed.
