Mav in 5. Luka Murdered Clips on his own, now mf has backup.

This narrative that Kawhai and PG13 and Mann/Westbrook can contain Luka in the playoff is true for the last 7 of the 4th quarter when Luka is gassed out after putting up over 40 for most games, and average of over 33 ppg. But guess who is the best finisher in the 4th this season? Kyrie Irving. That’s the difference along with inability of the Mavs to make stops in the clutch. The latter, Mavs is now on top of clutch play, including making stops in the last 5 minutes

That’s good analysis. 4th quarter kai is unstoppable. I think the Mavs can bully the clippers in the paint also nobody talking about that

@Ntegritty  I won’t underestimate Zubac. As good as Kawhai the last playoff they played, Zubac’s second chance points was the difference maker. Same with Warriors. It wasn’t Steph nor Wiggins that was the difference. It was Kevon freaking Looney lol. Now Mavs got an equalizer

Kawhi can’t do it alone and the other three have all choked in the playoffs, a lot. All 4 are older than Kyrie. Luka+Hardaway and a bunch of nobody else took the Clippers to 7 games in 2021. That LAC team was better than this one imo, certainly defensively, and they had a better record. Luka is a much better player now and the Mavs are stacked, totally different team. Best defense in the league over the last 20 games. Best clutch record. Luka will play Zubac to the bench just like 2021 and then it’s game on. Kyrie will roast these guys. Mavs in 5.

    Keep underestimating the Mavs…

Do these ESPN bozos even know that Luka has already torched Kawhi and PG for 31ppg in the playoffs during his SECOND YEAR IN THE LEAGUE? Do they also don’t know he averaged 36ppg(!) in 7 games against the same vaunted two of the best wing defenders of all time the year after that? He did that without Kyrie and with a Porzingis who alternated between being injured and invisible. Everyone knows Luka will keep bulldozing this team. Coz it’s not like Harden or Westbrook or Norm will do anything defensively as well. Having said that, it’s going to be the Kyrie and bigs effect that we will be tuning in to.

Kawhi comes back its clipps in 5 or 6. They are coming into this series angry.

Neither of the teams in the top ten lol bro the clippers are 11th 😂😂😂😂😂

This is just funny. Everyone seems to be focus on Luka being guarded by two players, at the same time they seem to forget no one player can guard Kyrie either.

    I believe in Luka… I just don’t trust Kyrie!

The narrative is that Luka owns the clippers and that’s fair just know clippers not only beat the mavericks but came back from 0-2. Also check the last 15 teams the mavs played lol clips in 6

4:07 good thing the Mavs have literally been a top 5 defense since the trade deadline, >30 games. Excellent analysis here.

What?you take clippers in a one possession game? Over Ky and Luka? Have you seen the end of game shot making this year?

  18. @cynga6067

    April 12, 2024 at 11:59 am

I believe Kawhi, PG and Russ will play real good D on Luka and Kyrie and lead to a 4-2 series win.

  24. @DaveHaze

    April 12, 2024 at 6:22 pm

Who is this smuck? Mavs are last 20 games first in defense and thats not gonna change cuz something switched in Mav’s team!

    • @kanoyim7072

      April 13, 2024 at 2:15 am

Or they had a relatively soft schedule. Just like everyone talked about the Rockets 11 game win streak, but if you look at the teams they played you’ll see why.
