Luka makes this team so much better. He can slow the tempo down when needed and also penetrate for easy 2s. This is what the team was missing from the Raptor game. Luka would have demanded players to foul him, which would have put an end to that dumb ass full court press. Sadly, Jalen Brunson doesn’t have the same I.Q as Luka, but with time I hope he gets there.

Luka is a great player for sure (maybe mvp caliber this year), but its honestly a tragedy when players like Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dorian Finney-Smith have standout incredible games and get little to no recognition for their play.

The NBA is an entertainment league and about narratives …. Sadly they don’t fit into one.. they are basically seen as Lukas back up dancers

I agree, but I’m sure if they get resigned, they’ll see it in their salaries.

Good playing with a chip over your shoulder especially THJ homie is always mad/aggressive every game light balances the dark, Powerful in the Force the Mavericks are.

Why does the media try to compare Luka to Lebron? Lebron couldn’t even shoot the ball for about 10 seasons… All Lebron was known for was traveling and driving the ball to the basket. Luka is miles ahead of him already.

which one of these did he travel on?

I still don’t know why Luka wasn’t picked #1??? A dozen teams passed him up… the Suns would’ve been better with him instead of that illegal steroid Center they drafted who’s a bust.

If they changed the green color and the font of those Mavs jerseys, they would look so clean. Should’ve went with a silver or grey color instead of the green accent.

Marv Albert is my favorite broadcaster, I remember back in the day when I first started liking him. From 1990 to 97 was the best, just hearing Marv Albert broadcast and especially when the Bulls would play. Can’t believe he’s still going strong.

I have NO idea what would be a good trade for the Mavericks to get the next step forward… i mean Lee is a done deal- but who else do they have to sacrifice to get a mobile big? Or a third star? IMHO- im satisfied with the ballers they have- all of em’ playing amazingly well – can’t lose Powell, Finn-Smit, Curry or HardawayJR-

If THJ, Wright, DFS can give you 10 points each this team will be hard to beat.

Porzingas has played like pure hot garbage so far this season! He may as well be Shawn Bradley 2.0. I don’t give a good got damn on how he’s trying to get right after he missed almost 2 seasons because of an ACL injury, he’s played like trash so far and Rick Carlisle is lying every time when he discusses KP. Rick is trying to say all the right things to keep media positive about KP but 30 games have gone by and media is going to have to write what they see about a 7’3 guy who can’t even shoot 45% from the field. He’s on a 5yr $158,000,000 deal and he looks like straight vomit out there a lot of times.

U know there are two ends of a basketball court? Ur comment is stupid ur expectations of a man who’s on a new team from a difficult injury is unhealthy. Just be happy ur seeing the unicorn play again m8.

      December 27, 2019 at 1:13 pm

Try watching when the Mavs are on D as well. KP is a league top-3 rim protector. Just his presence forces a lot of missed shots. Guy is virtually impeccable on defense. He’s also great on the glass (off and def). Boxes out extremely well, and puts a lot of effort into offensive boards (very deceptive and physical). Try watching him when he doesn’t have the ball…
