That season is when I fell in love with the Knicks as a NYer and became a die hard fan as I was then old enough to understand basketball.

Alan Houston pre-injury 1999 2000 2001 2002 better than Ray Allen and Reggie Miller and Paul Pierce. If not for his injury he would’ve been HOF.

I was in the sixth grade the last time the Knicks went to the NBA finals. I remember watching these games with my parents, rest in peace. I have heard Mike Green for not days, weeks, months, years, but decades scream, bang for different teams when they won in the finals. I need to hear him do the same for the Knicks this season.

The shot clock SHOULD have been on, fool. The Knicks took possession with more than 24 seconds left.

They still use the crowd reaction to Larry Johnson’s 4-point play to warm the crowd up at home games. When it was shot, while they were setting up the “and one” the network must have shown the everyone getting to their feet from like 9 different angles.

Brunson ain’t leading anyone to the promised land. The Knicks caught lightning in a bottle in a conference softer than baby food. One lucky run doesn’t turn a second-round team into a champion. The bill comes due eventually. 😭🏀
