This is a new role for Kawhi, now he’s playing primarily as a spacer which opens up the floor for everyone else. That means guys like IQ gotta hit their shots, he was wide open all game but bricking. If they somehow swap IQ for Irving then that’ll really open up the offense.

I watched the game too and man the raps 3 point shooting was horrendous! I donโ€™t like the idea of relegating kawhi Leonard to the wing as a spacer or spot up 3 point shooter. I prefer the ball to be in his hands than quickly coming off screens and pulling up n bricking shots. We need a proper centre that can shoot 3s and space the floor

Dude some stretches Barrett is the only one scoring . I would run him with the 2nd unit and maybe start Jaโ€™Kobe Walter instead for his shooting

Very impressive showing from Graves, he was defending Young very well & yesterday was D’ing up Wilson. He’s always crashing the boards & hustling, his defense is looking much better than advertised. At his size & with the Raps forwards like CMB he’s flying under the radar & is a difficult matchup for teams to counter.

Wizards are gonna have some growing pains this season. They played a scrappy tough game to loose by 10. I like the way Scottie Barns plays, he is so underrated 28pts 14rbs, now he needs to take care of the ball with them 8TO. This game was a turnover festival both teams with a combined 36 turnovers.

Claw is playin 60-70% capacity, raps will be scary if he gets to 90%

The Raptors are one piece away from being a LEGIT EAST CONFERENCE CONTENDER, and so can the Wizards if they play unselfish and play together, they have enough skilled players, but AD is going to have to be aggressive and play how he did in the Wizards season opener and if he can do that and play 65+ games they can be a really good team!!!!

Between the nonstop foul baiting from Washington, brick laying threes from Toronto and bad reffing this was one UGLY game

I donโ€™t want to get too excited yet, butโ€ฆ Scottie leveled up his offensive bag, Kawhi still ramping up, CMB loooks great and all the boys playing hard on Defense. Has me super optimistic ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

You can tell how different the mindset and the work ethics are now in Toronto compared to last season. The risked to be down between 2nd and 3rd qrt yet they dominated and kept the lead. Outstanding

Raps fan here . I watched the game, raps 3 point shooting was terrible. And I donโ€™t think the Wizards are gonna win anything with Trey Young as their PG. he canโ€™t defend anyone. In the playoffs opposing teams will target him defensively. He has to try and ice every pick n roll , he canโ€™t defend

I watched this game and it was not fun. The whistle was blowing every 5 seconds on both sides. The NBA needs to do better

Nice to see the Raps dominate a game where KL only gets 16. They can actually play him sparingly like last time.
