Anyone hating on pierce is either a lebron or Kobe Stan. They hate pierce cause he eliminated both in the same season and bash him every time his name is brought up out of fear of what he use to do to they zaddies. Yโ€™all in denial thatโ€™s why yโ€™all quick to say shit to down play his career.

I played a lot of NBA games and new the top players when I moved from London to Washington DC in 2007. Then I heard that the Celtics had put together this “Big Three” led by Paul Pierce. The next few seasons he became my favourite player in the league. Lebron is/was a great player but its the players like Kobe and Pierce hitting big shot after big shot late in games that make you remember.

    4th In 3-Pointers All Time
9th In Free Throws made ALL TIME
    15th All Time in Scoring.
    20th in steals all time
    At the time he retired
    10x NBA All Star
NBA champion and beat Kobe & LeBron while doing it and won finals MVP
    @paulpierce

    @money23green

Shame on you Draymond he wasn’t Kobe but who is Kobe Bro ?
Kobe Is arguably 1 of the greatest 3 to 5 players the world has ever seen
You really made it cool for people that are younger and didn’t get to witness pierce on his prime disrespect him
The truth is I been watching basketball for 25+ Years and Paul Pierce Is the most underrated and unappreciated player during that span
The man beat Kobe and LeBron on his way to winning a title and finals mvp
Only 14 players scored more than him when he retired paul pierce was ahead of his time but I understand the hate he gets LeBron has alot of haters but he also has the biggest fan base and his fans will forever be salty that Boston and Paul Pierce kept sending him home in the playoffs to the point he had to run down to Miami because he couldn’t get past The Pierce led celtics
Same reason MJ fans and Bulls fans hate the pistons …. We owned LeBron James before he was able to spread his wings and fly
Mentally he was weak against us and always choked…..
    If not for KG injury
The Celtics could have 3peated but noone is ready for that conversation
If not for KG INJURY Kobe would be sitting at 3 Rings not 5
KG injury took alot from him
He was already in year 15 and that injury made him regress so much that when he came back his quickness and leap ability were a shell …. And I love Kobe Bryant no disrespect he is one of my idols but if Kevin doesn’t get hurt we go back to back in 2009 and in 2010 we were up 3-2 when Perkins got hurt at the very beginning of game 6
    If u know u know
This Celtics Team was one injury away from possibly being a Dynasty
In 2012 a washed up Big 3 even had a 3-2 lead in the Eastern conference finals against a Prime LeBron, Wade and Bosh
Imagine if KG and Allen would of been in Boston 5 years earlier around 2003 instead of 2008
We would of won like 4-5

Love these highlights. He was a big shot taker and maker. One of the more clutch of his era that many may have overlooked thanks in part to him not being the most athletically flashy. He was more the crafty type that simply got to his spots and could make you pay

I am fucking disgusted looking at the 5 years old warriors fans and 6 years old NBA watching veteran thinking they know basketball and making fun of and disrespecting paul pierce. nowadays the kids watching the cup cake NBA don’t know shit about basketball. Imagine being stabbed 11 times nearly died and still played 82 games? When prime Shaq call you the truth you are the truth.

Whats your all time starting 5 for the Celtics?

    Its gotta be

    Rondo
    Hondo
    Bird
    Kg
    Bill

I think Kg was enough of a Celtic to have this honor and his defense + leadership allow him to edge out Mchale at power forward

I gotta go with Rondo as a pg above Cousy although Bob is by far the greater legend and Celtic, however, i think prime Rondo is a modern age Pg to keep everyone happy and even put up some monster triple doubles. Although… his character can be a little bit shady and toxic.

Sg would be occupied by, using a similar logic Ray Allen, because he is the best pure 3pt shooter. And he defended well. But you cannot hurt 2 legends in a row so Hondo for his huge energy goes ahead

Sf is Bird. Thats a shame for Pierce cause he is a true legend, but he is no Larry legend.

Honorable mention to Cowens, he is no.2 behind Bill and ahead of Parish

I am scared of Paul Pierce. He is making everyone do his ‘sacred ritual’ during a mid nba game. Sheesh even James Harden did the ritual.
