If we are letting in these players to the Basketball Hall of Fame, there are a LOT more deserving former NBA players who should be in, too. Let’s face it. The WNBA has never once turned a profit. It survives on the back of the NBA. And yet we are rewarding them for their bad play and horrible business? It’s truly sickening.

What does turning a profit have to do with her contribution to basketball?

    • TR Hansen

      September 12, 2021 at 10:44 am

@John Orona I didn’t say her, I said the WNBA, which would not even exist if not for the NBA. And the players in the WNBA should not be in the Hall of Fame. None of them are even close to being qualified. If they are, then BJ Armstrong sure as hell should be. Danny Ainge should be. There are hundreds of NBA players who should be in the HOF before ANY WNBA player.

@TR Hansen I understand the facts youโ€™re speaking. Itโ€™s futile to argue with them. Iโ€™m Just replying to let you know that youโ€™re not crazy.

@UCWisnTLX03RVsAXxoAkds3A it isnโ€™t the NBA Hall of Fame. Itโ€™s the Basketball Hall of Fame. Sit down and shut the fuck up.

Why does every random dude in the comments think he’s better than every WNBA hall of famer?

    • Floyd 972

      September 12, 2021 at 5:45 pm

Based on science itโ€™s a quite possibleโ€ฆ the womenโ€™s 100 meter dash WORLD record gets broken by on average of 125 American high school males every yearโ€ฆ I think it was 2017, but the womenโ€™s US national team and current World Cup winners at the time had an exhibition match with the menโ€™s UNDER 15 (KIDS WHO CANNOT LEGALLY OPERATE A VEHICLE) and got beat 5-2. The American national team current world champions lost to kids dropped off at the stadium by their parentsโ€ฆ and got whoopedโ€ฆ but yes you put a WNBA star, vs one of the top male players at a competitive YMCA rec league, Iโ€™m gonna go with the male every timeโ€ฆ sorry just being logicalโ€ฆ

      September 12, 2021 at 6:45 pm

@Floyd 972 I watched a guy who played Juco ball at the time talk trash to this girl who was like 5-6 inches shorter than him &3 years younger who happened to be a D-1 baller, and she shot 3’s and dribbled all over his ass. That experience changed my opinion at the time.

    • Floyd 972

      September 12, 2021 at 8:54 pm

@JD Trent anecdotes are always fun, but itโ€™s doesnโ€™t really mean anything. I watched a video where a man who was an ex g league player who hadnโ€™t played competitively in like 3-4 years (who was an out of shape point guard) against a current wnba star and controlled the game with ease (mostly taking long jump shots. I donโ€™t know think about itโ€ฆ most males are bigger and stronger, even if they lacked the talent, they could just turn their back, and back the female down and make a 2 ft layup almost every timeโ€ฆ again can crazy things happen yesโ€ฆ but until I see a woman good enough to play a professional sport WITH MEN and it not be a marketing ployโ€ฆ Danica Patrick *cough* winning on my one race in her entire career and not to mention she is in a vehicle not running, jumping or doing anything PHYSICAL against any manโ€ฆ (yes I know you still need to be in good shape for auto racing). But until I see a woman compete amongst men at a professional level and be worth watching, in terms of physical dominance they will always be weaker. Thatโ€™s just science, and Iโ€™m not trying to say that anybody is better than the other I believe each has strengths and values that help complete the worldโ€ฆ but we certainly are differentโ€ฆ
