Flagg is the better all around player, but Knueppel had the better and more impactful season .

      April 14, 2026 at 2:23 pm

no he didnt. hes the third option on his team. cooper is by far the best player on his team and its not close.

    • @kevink663

      April 14, 2026 at 4:34 pm

@Beamin439Everyone knows Flagg is the better player. But the operative word here is impactful. Knueppel’s play impacted his team more than Flagg did THIS season. For all of Flaggs’ heroics the Mavericks are not in the play in tournament. Even though Knueppel might be the third option, without his contribution it’s fair to say that the Hornets might not have made the play in tournament.

@kevink663impactful😂 my goodness you’re dumb the fact you think Flagg wouldn’t be just as if not way more impactful on that hornets team than kon is fkn ludicrous

      April 14, 2026 at 7:03 pm

@kevink663roty has never been about team success. Lottery picks go to bad teams. If this is our logic then chet holmgren shouldve been roty over wemby

  4. @TheRealLakersWorldOrder

    April 14, 2026 at 1:25 pm

But they’ll still give ROTY to Flagg even tho the Mavericks are ELIMINATED from playoff contention.

Kon is a phenomenal shooter, but he is also a really solid ball handler and finisher. He plays like a lite version of Luka, which is really high praise. Doesn’t quite have the same speed control and playmaking that Luka had at this age, but he is strong and really crafty as a scorer. Really exciting stuff going on in Charlotte!

      April 14, 2026 at 1:48 pm

Ball handler Kon? He got to many turnovers because of his handles.

Kon & Cooper are gonna win co rookie of the years like Stevie Franchise and Elton Brand. (Not really, Kon wins in my opinion)

    • @omarissa5755

      April 14, 2026 at 3:06 pm

      Why

    • @omarissa5755

      April 14, 2026 at 3:07 pm

Don’t say such about team winning because the doesn’t matter in Roty

    • @thepoisonouspotato3631

      April 14, 2026 at 3:54 pm

@omarissa5755what? I didn’t say anything about the hornets or Mavs. I strongly believe Kon will win it, and my opinion has nothing to do with the team, just him as an individual player

    • @justhere6507

      April 14, 2026 at 5:05 pm

No tf they aren’t it isn’t even close especially when you take context into account like cooper playing less games due to having an injury mid season gtfoh bro

    • @justhere6507

      April 14, 2026 at 5:06 pm

@thepoisonouspotato3631you’re opinion literally has everything to do w it h team winning just fkn stop 😂

  13. @genesis102076

    April 14, 2026 at 2:11 pm

He is one of the big reason why Charlotte is winning.

  14. @Beamin439

    April 14, 2026 at 2:22 pm

but not the most historic rookie season this year

  15. @sakdavid

    April 14, 2026 at 3:38 pm

Does this mean Keegan Murray also had one of the most historic rookie seasons ever? No disrespect, but I had never heard of him before Kon broke his record.

Rookies are talking more 3s than ever because the entire game has shifted to teams shooting 40-50 threes a game in the past decade. That doesn’t make their performances historic, because you can’t compare them to guys that were shooting 2 threes per game and because they didn’t change the paradigm on their own merit, they simply walk in the wake of Steph and Klay.

  17. @greg3072

Is he more athletic than Luka? They have similar builds.

  18. @justhere6507

Oh give me a fkn break they overhyping the hell out of dude stop it 😂

  19. @justhere6507

    April 14, 2026 at 5:12 pm

Cooper Flagg 21.0 ppg 6.7 reb 4.5 ast 46.8% mind you this is while also being out and missing 8 games due to a left mid foot sprain while he was on a tare right before suffering such injury which lowered his production being out for that time

Kon kneuppel 18.5ppg 5.3reb 3.4 AST( WHILE HAVING BETTER PLAYERS WHO CAN SCORE) fg% 47.5

😂😂 yall need to stop coop eclipses this man in points rebounds and assist the shooting percentage is almost identical cut it tf out

  20. @collinkilangwa3359

    April 14, 2026 at 5:35 pm

He’s like a young version of Klay

  21. @下人と老婆

    April 14, 2026 at 5:50 pm

I’m so happy for Kon. Fundamentals aren’t flashy, but as it turns out they are ROTY qualities. Hornets were wise to select him!

  23. @gamblingKidd

    April 14, 2026 at 7:22 pm

So Coop breaking literal historic records….this makes no sense lol if Coop had a healthy team. This ROTY talk would be non existent.
    If Hornets lose tonight…then what?

    April 14, 2026 at 9:25 pm

Special player but Coop should be ROY

Lee should get fired for benching him tonight.
