Ja Morant’s 28 points in the 3rd quarter are the most points scored in a single quarter by a Grizzlies player since the beginning of the play-by-play era (1997-1998).

Led by Ja Morant’s 39 points (33 in the 2nd half), 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 121-109. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks for the Grizzlies, while Anthony Davis tallied 28 points, 19 rebounds, and 5 blocks for the Lakers. The Grizzlies improve to 37-23 on the season, while the Lakers fall to 29-33.
