Shaq worked on his free throws. He knew it was a weakness. He never became good at it but he worked on it to help his team win.

Yep, Magic spent the whole summer improving his free throws. Ben’s had 4 of these summers so far Isiah and what’s he done to improve his free throws? Nothing. Magic Johnson said he would play for nothing. He just loved the game, he was motivated, he was a hard worker, he was a leader in his rookie year! You couldn’t find two more un-alike people.

I get what Isaiah is saying but Ben has never been one to take criticism and use it as motivation to improve like Shaq did (never got better offensively) , and when the players wanted to fly out and recruit him he told them not to take that flight, also wouldn’t answer the 76er phone calls.. The fans, Brett brown, and Doc for the regular season did nothing but nuture and protect him…. through it all he never made an effort to improve and got exposed in the playoffs yet again.

Philly tried to meet with Ben over the summer he turned them down. Both sides were doing what they’re supposed to until Ben caved once the money was in jeopardy then he decides to pull the mental health card. Weak on the court and off not because of what he’s going through mentally but because he didn’t stand on not showing up. Not being able to shoot is one thing. Not shooting is another. Tony Allen shot more 3s and shot a better percentage than Simmons. Tony was a 70 percent career FT shooter.

I see IT’s point but Morey didn’t want the drama anymore like what Harden did. Morey just wanna end this primadonna players nowadays. The NBPA will definitely have a hard time bargaining with the NBA that’s for sure!
