Derrick Rose has single handedly cost Detroit 5 games this season. He is the anti-clutch.

Freeman first I want to say, D Rose is one of my favorite players ever, so this is just blunt objectivity from not missing a single Detroit game this year. And this is only his play in closing minutes. There are three games that he stuck out like a sore thumb in losses; Chicago, Charlotte a week ago, and Charlotte tonight. There’s two other games where he blew defensive assignments on multiple plays in the stretch runs that cost them games, but those I’ll excuse because he’s never been a top tier defender. In Chicago he tried going 1 on 5 for the last 6 minutes of the game and Chicago doubled him into turnovers because he was over dribbling to make plays. And, in both Charlotte losses he had the ball in his hands to win the game and he misread the play and made huge mistakes. The first game against Charlotte he had a wide open, routine floater that he hits nine out of ten times and he tried passing it from under the basket and threw the ball into the second row over the score table. Tonight, he had the ball in his hands with two wide open teammates; the game winning play was a wide open lob to Andre Drummond who converts that almost 95% of the time. The other option was the immediate pass to the left corner for a hot shooting Kennard to get an in rhythm jumper. He’s just making bad basketball mistakes that rookies make and he’s not showing any poise or consistency in close games down the stretch. He’s a guy who should really be utilized in big minutes in the second and third quarters to push the pace and push leads out. When they are in crunch time, Blake should have the ball and he makes the right play on most nights. I love D Rose, but I think the Pistons are using him in the wrong way. But, I do think that will be changed soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if D Rose is starting soon; just so they can utilize his scoring and drive ability.

Wat r u talking about Andre Drummond definitely blew that game with that turnover he had trying to dribble down the court same play he turned it over terry rosier hit the game winning 3 102-96 we held them to 102 for a whole 2min we would’ve won tht game if he didn’t get that turnover πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

Octobers1086Own how about let’s get a better coach..And Stop blaming rose for E.N.D. game situations when he should not have to come into the game after being up by 10 then having to get a quick bucket…. to win or go to overtkme

Since I follow the Pistons closely, I know it’s in the game plan. It would take more than aTwitter-ssize comment to spell it out. Short-term growing pains, Long- term benefits.

Yo all you bashing Rose sound retarded.Praise him when he carrying y’all and kill him when he makes one bad play.”OH HE LOST US OUR GAME!!!” Well he would not have to do so if the starting lineup could keep a lead. Trust me we need this guy starting but our bench would be horrible.Blake plays so slow .Andre iq is horrible.Kennard is inconsistent .Like irk what to say.Funny how we blaming the β€œbench player” for all our losses.Lmao idk why he signed with this mediocre team.He saves y’all all throughout the game.Maybe give him someone who could do the same at the end.Got kids in comment section trying to assassinate the guy. He needs to request a trade then I would like to see how the pistons are doing.6 and twelve will turn into 10 and 30.See y’all on Friday for next games y’all ,trash ass fan base

I think D rose just appreciates being in the NBA at this point. He seems to be playing more relaxed.

Yes IDK they must match up well what up with all the no calls late in the game on Derrick that’s not why the pistons lost. They lost because they seem to have no chemistry or know what there identity is

  25. Nate McDonough

    November 29, 2019 at 7:30 am

What the hell? Rose had Drummond wide open rolling to the basket on that very last play. No wonder why Pistons are at the bottom of the standings. lol
