No one will catch Stockton’s assists record. CP3 has a chance to end his career as second in all-time assists leaders.

John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Michael Jackson, and Magic Johnson are the 5 others with 10k assists. He has no chance to catch Stockton, John had 15,806 assists. Kidd is next at 12,091 probably also not getting caught. He could easily pass Nash in 3rd place at 10,335 which is only one more assist than Mark Jackson at 10,334….Magic had 10,141 for the curious

CP3 one of Carolina’s Finest. A floor general in the truest since of the word. Future First Ballot Hall of Famer. He’s been one of my favorite players since I was a kid and I’m glad I got to see him do his thing. Here’s to catching Stockton🥂

Did you know he led the league in steals 6 times as well? He’s one of the best ever on defense. He deserves a championship ring before he retires.

even for amateurs, good scorers are a dime a dozen,
but good assist guys are quite rare. You’ll know when you play with one. they’re like the engine oil to the engine. makes the team soooo much smoother.

He is the last point guard of the old school. In todays NBA nobody is willing to do that pass first player. All point guard today wants triple double that badly
