You know what systemic racism is? It’s what put Donovan McNabb in the QB position and then when he failed to succeed, the press blamed him. Rush Limbaugh was called a racist for pointing out the flawed system that catered to race instead of ability. THAT is what systemic racism is.

Every time I make suggestions to my friends on how to improve the black community without white help I get excuses and finger pointing. No accountability and no solutions but they always want to talk and have uncomfortable conversations…ok, here’s one…has rap music helped or hurt the black community since the early 90’s…let’s start there, or why don’t we put our money together to own industries like the music we create or leagues to protect our athletes…but that’s too much sacrifice and leg work for the narcissists of today

    • CASH MADE

      February 19, 2021 at 6:40 pm

@Carlton Banks not going back and forth with strangers on YouTube. That won’t solve any thing and neither will having these conversations in the open. Then the enemy will have an opportunity to counter attack…they’ll figure out another way and companies like the nba will side with whoever is most sympathized with in the public as they need to continue to make money. And I’m glad the person running this account is seeing these replies, learn to think for yourself and stop using talking points

    • CASH MADE

      February 19, 2021 at 6:44 pm

@Carlton Banks and look up how much money the black communities brings in and how much they send to companies of other races…how many Chinese and Arabic owned liquor stores, gas stations and restaurants are on every corner in the hood. I’m from the hood, it was rare to see successful black owned businesses operating with morals and values and a customer first mindset….the black community has a mindset issue and excuse makers like you don’t help…they’ll be begging for help forever, nothing will ever be good enough

    • Carlton Banks

      February 19, 2021 at 6:49 pm

@CASH MADE That money is peanuts. And why do VOLUNTARY immigrants start businesses in black communities? Because they come to this country with connections and wealth that black americans have long been stripped of due to things like REDLINING. You haven’t answered me what is your solution to redlining and I suspect you dont even know what that is.

    • CASH MADE

      February 19, 2021 at 6:56 pm

@Carlton Banks aren’t you the same person saying that reparations will solve everything…keep begging for free stuff that blacks have been getting for YEARS. It won’t change anything, your democratic politicians haven’t done anything to help that redlining issue but you continue to bring it up and probably continue voting for them…what’s the next excuse? My family made it out the hood from poverty to a better community through a family and community first mindset and doing for ourselves. I have a life, so I’m done entertaining you. Take care!

    • Carlton Banks

      February 19, 2021 at 7:06 pm

@CASH MADE Do you know what redlining is? It’s important but you seem not to even care. Why is why you keep saying stupid things like reparations is begging for free stuff. You don’t even understand what the basic definition is. Were Japanese Americans “begging for free stuff” when they got paid reparations in 1989? I doubt you are even black.

Racial justice for black americans begins and ends with REPARATIONS for descendants of american chattel slavery, redlining, stolen land, misuse of tax dollars, and failure of protection of civil rights from its own federal, state, and local government.

Why should they celebrate it like the only history has happened in february and not like any normal culture with holidays throughout the year? It feels like the other parts of ‘their’ history are irrelevant.

Thank you, NBA! You’re doing the right thing by providing a platform for these athletes making America great.

By the way, Miami Heat owner Micky Arison donated tons of money to the Trump White Supremacy campaign, and then got Covid relief funds from the Trump Administration. It would be great to have Arison make amends in order to keep his team.

I had to stop as soon as he talked about how the pandemic had disproportionately affected black people. I find it very funny how the mainstream media all of a sudden cares about the health of black folks. I’m tired of the ploy to push the vaccine on us. It seems like a sinister plot.

Thanks to this, racism is back. Thank you, woke culture: you ruined everything black and white people built together in the last sixty years.
