The jokic hate is bc heaven forbid a white man dominates a black sport. Especially a non American!

He literally just said Jokic is the best player in the world. However, to be the face of the sport is a different argument. You can’t just go back to your home country after the season ends. The NBA needs you to promote the league by starring in commercials and movies. You pretty much need to be the NBA’s celebrity. Jokic definitely doesn’t want to do that.

sounds like more of a popularity contest compared to who is the best player

Lol too early to say he is in the face of the league. He has no accolades to back it up yet.

So… no more Giannis???😂😂😂😂 come on now

As long as LeBron in nba, he is the face. ESPN knows it

    What about SGA? Wemby?

    Anthony Edward :
On the court 0 championship, 0 MVP, 2AS, 0 all nba team, just made it out of 1st round until this year
Off the court: Didn’t get the video. already have a baby mama that’s not related to the video

    Jokic:
On the court: 1 Championship, 2 MVP, 5 all nba team, playoff boss
Off the court: tight family, married high school sweetheart

soon to be 3x MVP as well

Jokic is the face of the league. I’m not a Nuggets fan, but what he’s doing is crazy. Anthony Edwards and Luca are a close 2nd.

Maybe when Anthony Edwards wins a ring, Jokic has a ring. Sending him home right now won’t change that fact.

I think Jokic is the best in the NBA but unless Jokic just decides he wants to care for the extra media stuff that comes with basketball than it is hard for me to see him becoming the face of the NBA. I can see him becoming the face if he wins championship after the championship, and the media and endorsements force Jokic to do it.

Anthony Edwards naturally gravitates towards the face of the NBA like moments and is already in advertisments, endorsements, and a movie. I can see the media deciding to move towards Edwards because he is available to the media, desires to be a superstar, always shows competitiveness, has a loud personality, and is great at the game.

I agree with Stephen A to be the man you gotta beat the man and if ant knocks out jokic and they win the title then he’s the man

Bron is still the face of the NBA until he hangs it up, Joker comes after Bron and the other young boys next such as Ant and Wemby

  13. @Silentpixel2024

    May 1, 2024 at 7:55 pm

If not only for injuries Giannis and Jokic would be Magic and Bird of this new era. Face of the NBA doesn’t necessarily be a 1 single person. Rivalries is more entertaining

    May 1, 2024 at 8:18 pm

Does there need to be a face of the league
It’s still Jerry West on the logo
    😂😂

  15. @telmolicious

    May 1, 2024 at 8:28 pm

He got like the 25th most all star votes 😂

SGA deserves to be in this conversation

  17. @whatwhat9004

Face of the league is Cade Cunningham and it’s really not even close

  18. @sludgesnerve

    May 1, 2024 at 9:15 pm

Jokic is not trying to be great while ant is the opposite.

  19. @urospetrovic8753

    big honeyyyyy

  20. @JoeyHuman

    May 2, 2024 at 2:15 am

Mad Dog sometimes goes too far in his old school stuff but when he’s just talking the history of the game, it’s great. Those centers he listed truly are icons of the game and Jokic being in that convo is amazing.

  21. @PaperBoyPaperBoi

    May 2, 2024 at 2:16 am

ESPN didn’t have more than two convos about Ant per season until this year. Now he’s Jordan? At some point, fans/media became obsessed with forecasting and wanting to be right more than enjoying watching things play out

  22. @SantiAgo-eg5to

    May 2, 2024 at 2:24 am

Holy fuk, these types of shows absolutely suck.

  23. @dzrdza

    May 2, 2024 at 2:37 am

Joker doesn’t want any more attention than he already has.

  24. @dantedira4278

    May 2, 2024 at 2:37 am

The woke Disney overlords are not gonna let this happen😂😂😂

  25. @sensei_...

    May 2, 2024 at 4:52 am

The whole usa media is pushing Ant for beikg the face of thr nba what is wrong with them😂😂😂before him you got jokic, luka, giannis, lebron, curry, sga and wemby. They just want a black americn so hatd now that lebron willl leave the nba
