   This is what i’ve been saying for the past 2 years. Trade Joel while he’s still quote on quote dominant for Karl Towns. Build around Ben Simmons since he’s much more durable and has more potential, Embiid is going to start to disinegrate. People don’t want to admit it, but this goes back to the 76ers 17 game win streak two years back. Ben plays his best basketball without Embiid and it showed in the playoffs , and with the right combination, he can ascend into a top 5 player in no time.

     He’s not a five, he gets eaten alive in the paint defensively. And at the 4 the lack of a shot is a problem too altho not as much perhaps. I agree about the durability but embiid at 5 is a way better player, he jus needs ta commit to back to the basket offense

     @Alt Delete Towns has the tools to be good on defense, and he has great perimeter defenders surronding him, so at worst Philly will be 8th on defense. If Philly wanted to they can make Horford the 5 on defense. 40% 3PT shooter and lethal scorer next to Simmons is the much better fit and much more cohesion, and garunteed a top 5 offense. And he’s much more durable than Joel. Gotta stop treating Joel like hes top 4 in the league, no disrespect to him but he’s too damn reckless, on and off the court.

     🤣 kat has the tools to be a good defender, u worded that so specifically. In other words ur conceding that he’s a horrible defender. Joel is an automatic 20 n 10 wen he’s moody n not engaged n out of shape. Wen hes locked in like vs prime gsw or Giannis or something he shows u what hes capable of. Yes hes not the most durable i grant u all that but man that guy’s highs are indeed the best center in the league hands down, that’s hard to trade away. Plus hes the face of ur franchise, ppl hate ben Simmons unfair as it may be. The fans would revolt if they traded that dude

     @Alt Delete How much longer will Joel be the quote on quote face of the franchise before his body shuts down on him completley? Philly doesn’t have time to harness a toxic contract already giving max to Ben and Horford and Tobias near Maxes.

     @Anto horford n Tobias r the toxic contacts r u serious? Ben is under his rookie deal thru this season. I say u ride it out at least this season with both, they just need a legit pg. If not, to me ben is the one to trade based on team needs. They neeed a pg, ben is a pg.

    this doesn’t even do justice to what philly did defensively. there was a stretch where brooklyn could barely even dribble the ball without it being taken away from them. simmons and thybulle should both be in the running for dpoy
