    Kobe’s 81 is all about winning the game..while Bam’s 83 is about stacking his stats. If you watch that game, Bam’s teammates literally helping him to score so he will best the record.

    In addition almost half of that points came from free throws, setting another NBA record for highest free throw attempts.
