Celtics offered 20m hornets offered more. It’s free agency

    • D-Billz

      April 19, 2021 at 12:29 pm

@SLPC no its not. Celtics didn’t value him and choose to let him go. Now that he’s gone, they see his value.

      April 19, 2021 at 12:39 pm

@D-Billz well obviously 30m was a tough ask.

      April 19, 2021 at 12:40 pm

but what you said was wrong, celtics didn’t trade him. Gordon hayward opted out of his contract to get a better deal with hornets.

Jalen i love you but “irritance” is not a word. try nuisance

    • TennisEd

      April 19, 2021 at 12:27 pm

He meant “irritant” and therefore “irritants” as plural, I like nuisance better though because it implies a human element, whereas “irritant” is most commonly used to describe a substance that irritates your skin, similar to Rose…

Brad Stevens always been a college coach in an NBA game. He coaches like it. He may have to go back if the Celtics dnt get to where they’re tryna go. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Tatum is the key for their postseason. Kemba Walker not gonna elevate another level past 2nd/3rd tier all star.

What’s happened to the NBA? Players have no incentive to win anymore, they’re just paid to show up. A lot of the time they don’t even need to show up. It’s all about “legacy” now, so much ego, so much entitlement. Meanwhile the world is in a pandemic and there is this apparent race war that the media is perpetuating. All I see in the NBA is the constant discussion about BLM, racism, inequality sprinkled in with how many millions of dollars everyone is paid. No wonder people are switching off. I don’t know what this league is, but it’s not the NBA.

Brad Stevens is leagues beyond Mike Woodson. In terms of preparation, plays, and just overall coaching. One thing that NBA analyst always hard on when it comes to Stevens is that he’s good for 8-10 points a game as a coach. His ability to draw up plays after a timeout is known throughout the league.

If Celtics let him go they better have Doc Rivers back in the city committed first! Send him next year with Kemba for TJ and Top 10 pick hah.

    7years 70m? I’d be like bye celts

  22. Quaan Adams

    April 20, 2021 at 7:52 am

So a coach can get 10 mil a year, but the players can’t get a lil something?? Insane

  23. LuNy ChOOnz

    April 22, 2021 at 4:25 pm

Is there a belief Mike Woodson is anywhere near the same caliber coaching candidate?

Woodson is at 315 and 365 (substantially under 50%)

    Steven’s is 349 and 273 (substantially higher then 50%)

But hey, sure, pay them the same – they’re clearly equally qualified, right?

  24. P Black

    April 25, 2021 at 1:35 pm

Yeah because Woody getting offered much less was only because he’s black. 🙄

7 years 70 million, but instead he accepted the Celtics which most likely get fired after this season. It must be nice to be rich.
