Wizards coach play toooooo much isolation with his bigs. They all stand around the 3s and Westbrooks and one other players do all the works, he is good some night, but will run out of gas with good teams.

I was thinking that earlier today. No telling with those tie breaker rules and all lol

    • Frank Harris

      May 13, 2021 at 8:55 am

Knicks had the tiebreaker over the Hawks in the playoff scenario.

    • Ryan G

      May 13, 2021 at 9:38 am

@Frank Harris yeah but the heat had it over the Knicks though and we have the same record. Still don’t understand how we didn’t clinch then not that it matters now though thank goodness

    • JB Jr

      May 13, 2021 at 6:36 pm

@Frank Harris Not exactly if the Heat, Hawks and Knicks are tied for the 4th seed, Hawks get the tiebreaker by being the 2020-21 NBA Eastern Conference Southeast Division Champions.

Wizard’s starters suck. Ain’t no way Westbrook the only one with 20+ points when their bench outscored the Hawks bench. RUI played 30 mins with only 11 points but Gafford played 17 mins off the bench for 16 points. Bench Rui for Gafford

  28. Jonathan King

    May 13, 2021 at 5:25 am

Brooks has cost the Wizards at least a few losses in the past few weeks. They easily could have gone on a 15-0+ streak if only they had an AVERAGE head coach. Gafford is sitting too much and it’s getting tiresome!

    • az the realist

      May 13, 2021 at 12:57 pm

Facts then he sat Russ to Long I mean as soon as Russ went to the bench they lost the lead in less than a minute and a half I would of told Russ we need you ride this out the rest of fourth quarter and called a time out so he can get a breather it’s not a back to back the next day so he can have a full day of rest and no practice the next day for him

  29. Olive Hey

    May 13, 2021 at 5:48 am

Westbrick really is nothing but a glorified stat chaser. Didn’t even have the decency to hustle back after choking. Tsk. Disgusting. U nimwits need to stop glorifying dis ahowl.

Nobody gonna mention the horrible shot from Bertans at the end? They still had time on the clock but he forced an ugly shot and that sealed the deal for the wizards.

In the 35 years I’ve been watching the NBA, this has to be the most awfully one-sided officiating I’ve ever witnessed. Congratulations to the officials.

      May 14, 2021 at 10:29 am

Yeah I 100% agree they tried there best to screw the Hawks over time and time again, it’s always been like that but what do the Hawks do? They buckle down, shoot from 3, drive to the paint and get buckets!!!

Westbrook did everything possible to lose this game. So many late game mistakes.

  45. sole hungrynhappy

    May 13, 2021 at 9:30 pm

Trae is so unbelievably good. One of the main reasons why he played so great is because no one could stop his floaters from going into the basket. His agressiveness, ability to get inside the lane, and also score really helped the high flying Hawks. JC, Capela, Bogdanovic, and practically everyone else did what they were suppose to do also. Clinching the 4th spot in Eastern Conference is not as easy. But for Atlanta to reach the postseason its a huge step forward. Great victory to go against a tough Wizards squad who gave us a run. I really like Ish Smith at point guard, Russ of course, and 3 pointer shooter Bertans.
