Love Cam but disagree, the Bubble Chip is 1, and then with all the pieces they had and moved…Bron never goes back to the finales. That might be a success for any other team, but for the Lakers its not.

They easily go back the next year without injuries. That team was the 1 seed 30 games in before injuries began and were up 2-1 on the suns.

It’s going to depend a lot on what happens this off season, who’s staying and who’s going if they will be contenders next season. They have a lot of good pieces right now but not enough and if they loose some good pieces this off season it’s definitely not enough.

@mit@mitchellwallfred1594bro if they would of kept that 2020 roster it’s safe to say they probably would’ve repeated it’s retirement worthy because he was considered one of the biggest pick ups by the Lakers a half a ring is still a ring and finals mvp becoming the first ever to win championships in 3 different franchises is pretty legendary

The 2020 title was great basketball to watch. We were robbed of a parade. Having Kobes agent as a GM/President of basketball operations has been the worst experience as a fan. Absolute DEI hire.

Much more failures than success. Had he left the Lakers both would have been better off.. Same goes for if he’d leave next season. That would be what’s best for LeBron’s chance to win a chip. Go back to Cleveland and win there.
