This is the part that I don’t understand about people calling him a bad teammate: Dray is like Jimmy – you gotta work. Dray loves the teammates that work hard, whether you’re talented or not. Not working hard isn’t acceptable because all is costs you is effort and heart and not doing it will get you shipped out however that happens.

Draymond went into beast mode during the last two minutes. I am starting to see why the last 8 games before this were played as they were. Still going to have to be in the playin game. No reason to go full out. And now that this is the meaningful part of the season, they had another gear we hadn’t seen in months. Everyone in the last five minutes stepped it up. This was a total team effort. And of course, Steph just stepped on the gas to match Draymond’s energy.

Dray, Curry, Kerr, Horford have more playoff experience than any team. That’s the one underrated advantage the Warriors have against the other teams. They may be slower, less healthy and not as deep as other teams but they know exactly how to win under any circumstance.

Not taking anything away from Draymond; IMO, he’s the best defensive player in NBA history. The other guy who had to come and double team Kawhi and then drop back to cover the Clipper he left open, back and forth and back and forth; Santos, Melton, Payton, Podziemski, Horford; they deserve credit, too.

No matter what I thought about Dray, after the Poole incident and jumping on the LeFraud train. I ALWAYS RESPECTED HIS GAME IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, especially a game like this. Imagine Kawhi had 40+.
