It was crazy that a 3rd season 22 year old player with his 2 best teammates being a 2nd season 21 year old and 20 year old rookie were in the NBA Finals.
It never concerned me at all that the Spurs looked like a young inexperienced team that couldn’t execute in 4th quarters in the Finals . Spurs were way ahead of schedule last year ,
If Wemby ,Harper , Castle stayed together another 10 seasons and stayed healthy ready for playoffs at least 7 or 8 of those years , they’d win 2 championships at minimum and potentially 6 or 7.
