Yup, still 7’4 settling for face up middies instead of even trying to get to the paint. Just 5 feet closer and it would be unstoppable. Its great to have this in his bag but his lack of getting to the rim hurt him in the playoffs.

The Spurs made it to the finals and could have won if they had a Power forward and a reliable backup center so Wemby doesn’t have to play 44 minutes a game. When he’s rested he could hit those middies. They signed Tobias and drafted two centers so Wemby could spend more energy on offense to get to his spots. Also most of the time Wemby rolls to the basket they triple team him. They can’t double him on the perimeter. Wemby is still the greatest lob threat in the history of basketball. He puts pressure on the defense inside and out.💯

He can make jump shots. He should take mid-range shots, 3’s, and dunks. He should try to master all 3 levels.
