For so many teams tryna tank for him, just doesn’t seem worth it. That comp looks nothing like nba, guys are all smaller, skills aren’t as deep. Too early to hate but goddamn I just don’t think it was worth all the tanking

Everyone in the NBA would look small against him outside of Boban, his frame is huge

He played against many 7 footers in Europe surprisingly

    • Sun King

      July 6, 2023 at 3:23 pm

Guys are smaller? Those are grown men he went up against, quite a few of them actually played in the NBA too. The last team he went up against in the finals featured 7 former NBA players as well. So it’s not “smaller guys” it’s just that Victor is so damn tall he even makes legit 7 footers look smaller

Your team didn’t get him get the fuck over it

NBA players will look just as small believe me, David Robinson was 7’1 and Duncan 6’11 but Victor tower over them, and it’s not even only his height, it’s his wingspan, it’s like Dwight, or KD and AD, Dwight is 6’9 like Bron but has a 7’5 wingspan, AD 6’10 has a 7’6 wingspan and KD 6’10 and a 7’5 wingspan while Lebron only has a 7ft wingspan so Dwight, AD and KD look much taller on thecourt, and Wemby also has an abnormaly big wingspan for his size wich is crazy, he has an 8ft wingspan, the 3rd longest EVER, he is 7’3.5 barefoot and as mobile, quick and agile as a guy like KD, Tatum or AD, he will shrink the court like a Giraffe in a Basketball court and block and alter shots like nobody else ever, he will probably be the best defender and rim/paint protector ever, and he can even block jumpshot, even 3pts shots …

Believe tomorrow you will seee how big he is compared to everybody else lol Sabonis is like 6’10 bro Wemby is minimum 5inches taller than him.

      July 6, 2023 at 5:46 pm

Smaller? Gotta be kidding me these dudes are the same height as most of the guys he will be playing against. HE is the one who’s making them look small lol
And if you mean their offensive skills aren’t as deep that means nothing because he played against their defense not offense. And when he’s on defense he will be great regardless. Gobert came from the same place and he won multiple DPOY. Wemby’s defense seems ever better. He’ll be fine.

I hope wenbayo lives up to the hype like lebron did. I look at picks like Zaion who cant stay foot and are always injured. Fingers cross. Wembayo

I don’t think the pelicans have good strength and conditioning coaches nobody can stay healthy over there if we’re being honest and look at Lonzo something been wrong and even more so after leaving pelicans

    • Cary Spell

      July 6, 2023 at 6:33 pm

@stryle yung fitness has nothing to do with Lonzo’s issues. Quit playing pretend doctor

    • BarryHatin

      July 6, 2023 at 7:50 pm

@stryle yung brother players don’t want to play there, so they save their bodies until hey get traded or hit free agency. one of the worst NBA spots in the league tbh

you guys fall form them fake injuries lul what else do you fall for in life?

I do not understand how they got this job. Poor audio quality with such a delay. So much awkward silence

      July 6, 2023 at 3:24 pm

Not really. Its just faster not more physical

  7. The Dirk Diggler

    July 6, 2023 at 3:01 pm

Imagine if he had a Hookshot. So fucking sad the state of big men today.

    • Vaibhav Satheesh

      July 6, 2023 at 3:36 pm

Look at Jokic Anthony Davis and Sabonis. They are great in the post.

    • The Dirk Diggler

      July 6, 2023 at 4:04 pm

@vaibhavsatheesh7964  great because the post defense is dead. Davis and Sabonis ain’t scoring against 2000s AND 90S centers. Sabonis’s dad Arvydas Sabonis would destroy him in his prime on post catch 1 on 1s.

    • Vaibhav Satheesh

      July 6, 2023 at 8:36 pm

@The Dirk Diggler I see what your saying but I honestly think Davis can do well. He’s very athletic with a crazy frame and has some guard skills. That’s hard to guard for anyone. Unfortunately he gets injured a lot.

  8. Adeniyi Oduguwa

    July 6, 2023 at 3:47 pm

NBA are making a lot of money from this guy.

The NBA is just investing in him, and polishing him, but will he live up to the hype ?

    • YoungBae 518

      July 6, 2023 at 8:57 pm

He got more potential than LeBron. He gon do this.

    • Milot Sadiku

      July 6, 2023 at 10:00 pm

All he has to do is to stay healthy, injuries will happen to him, i hope they wont be anything major… im scared that he will have that Sam Bowie NBA journey. High potential player, but constantly keeps breaking his knees

  11. Mikmaks!!!

    July 6, 2023 at 4:35 pm

Lets see him do that to bigger and faster NBA players. Coz it’s easy to do it against these kids height.

    • mayencent

      July 6, 2023 at 5:01 pm

He was playing against pros since he was 15 years old, ex NBA players… Scoot and Brandon will be the ones having a tough time adjusting to the league

    • Guillaume

      July 6, 2023 at 5:11 pm

no, you meant, this youngster looks promising, and he seems like a good kid, I wish him success in the NBA 👍

You clowns always expose how little knowledge you have of other leagues and the play physicality

  12. M Chi

first clip would be an injury in the league.. mans gotta watch out

  13. Superbigblue19

    July 6, 2023 at 5:10 pm

They don’t put bodies on you like back in the day, so he should do good.

  14. Keo

    July 6, 2023 at 5:11 pm

Did he just self lob from the 3 point line!?!

  15. B

    July 6, 2023 at 5:16 pm

2:36 is very similar to Giannis.

  16. ThaLil GUY

    July 6, 2023 at 5:55 pm

Yall kill me, he’s playing in the most physical league. Nba is nothing like over there. The kid is playing against grown men. Have common sense. The only thing ke has to get use too is the length of games

    • Barbarooza

      July 6, 2023 at 11:43 pm

lol, you really said the NBA is physical. Have you actually watched the NBA over the last 5 years? Wemby will have more space than he has ever played in, in a league that does everything it can to protect offensive players.

    • monjay

      July 6, 2023 at 11:55 pm

@Barbaroozado you know how to read buddy?

    • Barbarooza

      July 7, 2023 at 12:14 am

  18. Nikki

    July 6, 2023 at 6:59 pm

Bro doesn’t have a single game in an NBA floor and here you are seems like the face of the league. Ridiculous! You just give this kid a target on his back. Look what you did to zion

    • G H

      July 6, 2023 at 9:41 pm

Zion would be him if his body held up. The skill is obvious. That’s what you go by

  19. GollyWillikers

    July 6, 2023 at 7:02 pm

Sadly he’s prob gonna be much worse than expected, just bc the expectations are so high for him.

  21. Lord Kaiser

    July 6, 2023 at 7:52 pm

chet is nowhere near the talent, skill and athleticism level of wemby..

    • YoungBae 518

      July 6, 2023 at 8:58 pm

Chet is close. If he is in a different era, he’d be the unicorn. But he has to be drafted ahead of the unicorn of the unicorns.

    • Lord Kaiser

      July 6, 2023 at 10:29 pm

@YoungBae 518 if your eyes are good enough to pay attention to detail, you will be able to observe that chet is nowhere near as smooth, as graceful and as mobile as wemby.. watch their steps, their shoulder movements and footwork – totally different..

    • YoungBae 518

      July 6, 2023 at 11:57 pm

@Lord Kaiser Victor has GOAT potential. Chet has Top 10-25 potential, which is still alltime great. Victor has the craziest potential in NBA hist, its not a shame to be a little less than a GOAT.

    • Lord Kaiser
