Seems like people don’t realize that the Spurs were basically three possessions away from becoming champions. It doesn’t mean the Knicks don’t deserve itโthey do, and it seems like they wanted it more. But the Spurs were just three possessions away from the title, despite the coaching mistakes, Fox’s mistakes, their overall inexperience, and everything else. And this was their first playoff run.
