Zae once again proved why he’s a top 3 player in this space. Started out rough but kept up with his shot and went nuclear to start the half. That run alone did majority of the heavy lifting for team DMV as well. As for team NYC I like Duzie and Wauny’s game fr. Seeing both of them again in the space would be dope af. NYC would have had this game in the bag in my opinion tho if it wasn’t for 4TheKill. I’m not even trying to say he was trash but he was definitely being way to passive physically especially on that last drive where he had an open layup but decided to pass to the corner where scoop fumbled the steal out of bounds. That play alone killed the momentum NYC had even tho they got the ball back. It’s hard to play with a nigga who’s barking like a general but lacks vision or scoring. Numerous times he had Wauny cutting and completely missed him but then got in Wauny face at half time about not cutting while refusing to cut himself when off ball … make it make sense gang. You could tell only Duzie and Wauny were operating on the same page outside of 4TheKill force feeding Wauny in the low post.
Overall this was an impressive win for Team DMV showing their team chemistry resilience and focus down the stretch. Bruce played solid on both sides, Zae shoot himself out a slump going on a 17-0 run fresh outta half time, and Skoob came up clutch putting the nail in the coffin when all looked lost. It’s safe to say Team DMV #1 in the 3v3 space. Team LA missing Frank more than ever rn lol.
