I was hoping the Blazers wouldn’t let go of Gary Trent Jr. and start him the SG position next season.. Trade CJ for a star front court player this summer…
Trent was playing so well at that SG spot olaying both ends of the floor when Nurkic, CJ and Collins have been out for a chunk of the season.. They really need some help at the 4/5..

Powell is a nice pick up but doesn’t really move the needle in the west.. It would also have been a cheaper option to pay Trent instead of paying Powell who might cost more..

CJ is easily an all-star this year if it wasn’t for that damn injury. Again, signing Powell is one of the best signings during the deadline. I am hoping that they’ll stay healthy for the rest of the season. This is a great win for them. For the Magic, Bulls finessed them with that Nikola trade, but their young core is something to watch out for in the next few years. Carry on…

Gosh kanter so under rated give this man the respect he deserves a offensive second chance point monster machine he leading the league in offensive rebound n second chance points and nobody seems to bring that up it’s funny yea he was no defense but he makes up for it with 10 offensive rebounds n second chance points he better be first in most improve player award cuz he the only one who deserves it this year

It looks good how Portland is still able to trust Norman in his first game in a Portland jersey! I know there’s going to be plenty more to come, and their going to love Norman because every game is going to seem like he’s always improved! Normans also going to be happy to play with and for the Blazers because now the team seems like they might just be able to go to the Conference finals, but also maybe the FINALS!πŸ‘€

Powell is a lethal 3-point shooter and he’s crafty and strong at the rim. Blazers robbed the raptors on this trade.

portland is getting a great player who as a starter will put up 25 pts a game easy. the raptors were fools for letting him go, no dis on trent and hood. ist game and he fit right in wow.

Shit the magics to bad i get of course there rebuilding but at least okc had a great foundational plan the magic just basically gave away their big 3 of their identity for ok draft picks and rotation role players im excited for the blazers though cant wait for normans new chapter of his career in Portland

  55. AseeF

    March 28, 2021 at 1:10 am

i think Blazers weakness is guarding the big 3s and 4s in the league. Powell can def play defense but lets be real, he isnt guarding Kawhi, Pg13, Lebron, and obv not KD or Giannis.

I’m a Raptors fan but I am also rooting for the Trailblazers now. I don’t think the fans realize what they just got handed to them in Norm Powell. I call him the Nat King Cole of Basketball, smooth and powerful. Explosive as well, he is like a heat seeking missile. Miss you Norm.

Why do they pull Carmelo Anthony out in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter? That coach is not doing a good job with the lineup.. who puts a player like Carmelo for the for the last minutes of the 1st and some of the 2nd and then not put him in till closing minutes of the 3rd? When he is cold from halftime and not playing last of 2nd and early 3rd.. doesn’t make sense, just waiting on the injury because that is not good minute management, going out there cold… and then they don’t play him in the closing minutes? Wtf Portland Trailblazers coach? What are you doing?!
