i hope westbrook trade was a good idea to be honest i don’t trust kuzma and kcp is inconsistent

  15. 09lowkey

    October 1, 2021 at 3:42 pm

The funny thing is it doesn’t matter what team Westbrook is on. He always plays uncharacteristically good when he’s up against KD. Case & Point, game winning 3 against the Nets.

    • Mr Jade

      October 1, 2021 at 6:06 pm

Thanks bro. I just realized that. Lakers vs Nets is even more scary.????

    • Mr Jade

      October 1, 2021 at 6:07 pm

      LeBron vs KD type scary.????!

    • Grim_reapercy

      October 2, 2021 at 11:49 am

He was the most efficient clutch player last year so that game winning 3 wasn’t a surprise.

    • 09lowkey

      October 2, 2021 at 12:13 pm

@BBall Griot It means he plays better than usual, when it comes to playing against Kevin Durant.

    • jus

      October 2, 2021 at 1:59 pm

the 3 against the nets was luck

    • BBall Griot

      October 2, 2021 at 2:17 pm

It is OFTEN the case that when a player that us normally an average or worse 3pt shooter has no choice but to shoot it immediately without hesitation, they’ll hit that shot. There’s no time for anxiety or second-guessing, etc., so in that spur if the moment, they’re “unconscious”. There’s no time for the CONSCIOUS MIND to interfere with what the SUBCONSCIOUS knows how to do. However, that same player is unlikely to be “unconscious” on a play drawn up during a time out. Its not unusual at all.

    • BBall Griot

      October 2, 2021 at 2:28 pm

You say he plays better than usual vs Durant. No doubt there are familiar reasons and narratives why that is so. Hmm… KD, who was scuzzy for going to the Warriors blah blah, blames Russ for OKC not getting to the Finals blah blah, which resulted in KD & Russ having beef blah blah, so Russ has extra motivation whenever he plays KD blah blah. PUH-LEEZ!! Westbrook always gives 100%. IT’S IN HIS CHARACTER!! Westbrook doesn’t “save his best effort” for special occasions.

Alex Len’s dunk is one of the TOP TEN PLAYS OF THE SEASON? Isn’t a pass from a PG for a dunk by a 7ftr a routine play?

    • Mrbusiness

      October 3, 2021 at 12:56 pm

Len dunked on Jarrett Allen one of the league’s best rim protectors

    • BBall Griot

      October 3, 2021 at 3:24 pm

You’re grading shotblockers on a curve. Jarrett’s 1.4 blocks per game is mediocre. Mediocre may have been good enough for 10th place in blocked shots per game last season, but its still mediocre.

i miss westbrook with the wizards already, BUT, the WIZARDS have composed A VERY DANGEROUS SQUAD for this upcoming season. A Whole completely new team aside from last seasons…very excited for the Wizards this season!
