D’Angelo Russell (21 PTS, 5 3PM) drained a triple with 2.9 seconds left in regulation to help the Minnesota Timberwolves survive and defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 106-103. Malik Beasley paced Minnesota with 24 PTS, 5 REB and 6 3PM, and Naz Reid finished with 17 PTS and 9 REB in the win. Al Horford’s season-high 26 PTS (7 REB, 8 AST) led the way for OKC as Hamidou Diallo (16 PTS, 10 AST) and Darius Bazley (12 PTS, 10 REB) both recorded double-doubles.

      I would’ve loved to see the game with both teams at 100! I feel like Thunder and Wolves are pretty close even with the Kat/Dlo supers on out team. Prayers that sickness and injuries stop affecting teams so we can really see what everybody can do

    Story of the boxscore = Timberwolves bench outplayed the Thunder’s bench. BTW, the Thunder’s normal bench (except Horford) were all STARTING in this game. Presti is grinning like an evil genius right about now =)
