Brown and Poku are so inconsistent. They need to come off the bench or have the coaches help them. Brown hasnt scored in two striaght games. Bradley needs to start over Brown. Dont care if they are young, ive seen just as young be way better. A yard sale on OKC coaching staff needs to happen. But Bazley is looking good but again he was a project who took to long to develop.

If you’re a real wizards fan who spent 10 plus years supporting this franchise you’re not gonna be pleased with this right? No clear solid path unlike, Oklahoma, Pistons, Rockets or Minny. Gonna miss that top 5 pick (this year which is huge given the talent in that class) and be stuck in mediocrity which is the middle one. Not too bad to tank, not to good to win. Enjoy this win Brick fans but this is not good for that franchise and sustainable in the long run. Said what I said.

Also wanted to add, very good game. Love Russ’ s leadership man, that’s something that’s so underrated about his game. Another thing, Sam Presti is a cold ass GM. Good young coach, great young core of players and picks for the next decade, literally. They’re so competitive already; casual fans don’t understand how important player development is. It’s refreshing to see some teams not tank and just coach guys up. Now it’s crazy because there’s so much pressure to win now, especially when you get into legacy talks and things of that nature; so I never fault guys for joining up, what do you expect them to do? But it’s cool to see us (Miami) and teams like OKC see a core value in development of picks because in the end those are the teams who are chasing the chip down the road – look at GS before KD, they got better and better each year under Mark Jackson; who’s still never deserved to be outed for Steve Kerr, who to me is showing this year he can’t really galvanize a group of players when his chips are down, luckily for him he’s got Steph. But yea, this is refreshing.

The irony of this game is if MVP’s were picked the way they’re SUPPOSED to be instead of media driven narratives, Russ and Steph just might be the two top candidates. Any stars or stars surrounded by good players can have a good to great record but the MVP is the heartbeat and soul of a team
