So is harden gonna play the 1 or 2?

Most likely the 1. They’ll be very dynamic at the guard spots though so they can alternate

He could replace Korkmaz in the starting lineup. Maxey is too small to be at the 2.

I know Harden is a really good player or at least he was but I don’t know why people think this trade makes us bona fide contenders. He never showed up in big pressure moments in the playoffs throughout his career, lately he’s been injured, he’s lazy, fat, and getting older. There’s so many other stacked teams I feel can beat us like the Nets, Bucks, Heat, and definitely GS & Phoenix. He makes us better but I don’t know how much better. People acting like we’re the 17 Warriors and a lock to win the championship. I still think we need another piece and to improve our bench.

I wasn’t really happy with the trade- I thought we gave up too much personnel and resigning him is most likely gonna cost us Harris, too. Its really a win now roll of the dice. Also, I’m old school. Im a Sixers fan back from the late 70’s. Back then fans were more ride or die with players and team loyalty to a certain degree. There may be a trade here and there, but the majority of the team remained year after year with some occasional tinkering and trades. IDK, getting rid of Curry and Drummond kinda pissed me off. Sometimes winning with your guys is almost as important as winning.

@Just a statistic well curry shooting we are definitely going to miss but it was becoming streaky and he’s a defensive liability. I’m not with that loyalty stuff if the players are not good enough to get the job done you have to move on and find players who can. Andre Drummond is a starter he was not going to be here long time he was just auditioning for another team. And because Simmons value was so low we couldn’t just do a straight up trade with him and Harden. I’m just concerned with how much work Harden will put in to be in Tip-Top shape and how he will do on the big stage because throughout career he’s done a lot of folding and choking under pressure. Not just that but he’s been getting injured a lot lately and it seem like he’s on the decline because of age

Maxey is going to be a nightmare matchup when Harden is on the court. I hope he learns everything Harden can teach him. They should be instant front runners for the Championship.

76ers are so refreshing to watch without Simmons. Much better without that pathetic loser, coward and national embarrasment.

Def an off night, but still casually put up 25/19/4 with 5 blocks and a steal.

Notice how the moment Embiid took a break the Sixers had no center which allowed OKC to claw back into the game. I really hope Morey didn’t think Milsap is the back up center that we need.
I’m hearing there’s a lot of centers out there that can fill this void. Great win but the sixers can’t neglect our MVP by forcing him to over extend himself.

Embiid is so cringy with how he flops on any contact period in the paint. Man I wish big guys like Shaw who can play and not cry. Is that what jokic is missing lol the flops

    • Almost Awesome

      February 11, 2022 at 10:31 pm

If jokic flopped like embiid he would be the league scoring leader

Sixers had plenty of higher draft picks over the years above Maxey..this kid looks like the real deal for a number 21 pick. Far more upside than Fultz, Zhaire Smith.
