Disagree you have to be near perfect for 1 game 6 times in a row. I 100% get what chalmers is saying while there is more skill in the nba there is also more randomness in ncaa. The nba separates the good from the great and the ncaa gives the good teams a chance to beat the great ones. You only get a few years in college compared to nba you can play as long as you can.

…a seven game series is harder for the players…but in “one game for all the marbles” its harder for the coach…FOR THE PLAYERS, THE PHYSICAL TOLL AND PRESSURE MOUNTS OVER A GRUELING SEVEN GAME SERIES…but a coach is more at ease because he can change game plans and try different things over a 7 game series…BUT IN A “ONE GAME FOR ALL THE MARBLES”, ITS LESS OF A PHYSICAL TOLL ON THE PLAYERS, BUT ITS PRESSURE PACKED FOR THE COACH, BECAUSE HE HAS ONE SHOT TO GET IT RIGHT, SO HE HAS TO BE PERFECT.

Definitely one game. Sure like he said you get beat four time that means you’re not the better team. But if you’re the better team and you have a fluke or things don’t come together for a game or two you have a chance. NCAA you only get one shot and you better make it count. The scenario is definitely harder. Now the difference is a handful of players from that league will move on to the NBA where the highest skill resides. But the thing is those MF are lazy af. That’s why college ball is more exciting.

NBA is harder to WIN, NCAA is easier to LOSE. One dude has a poor game in the tourney or someone on the other team goes nuts, you can be cooked.
Top 8-10 guys on NBA teams that win a chip will be in the league in 5 years UNLESS they are old. There are plenty of guys on NCAA championship teams that won’t even stick in the league.

yep harder to win easier to lose i a good way of putting it. Hard to be the favored team and lose but in reality theyre all supposed to play out and a lot of ppl get what they deserve putting too many eggs in basket relying on freshmen to win them a do or die scenario game.

NBA is harder. Especially when you “are the guy” “the face of the franchise?” And you have to live up to expectations with people saying he has to get a championship this and this. It’s different from college where you are all surrounded by 3-4-5 stars players already outta high schools. But I get what he saying tho.

Winning 1 game is arguably harder than beating someone 4 times straight for the exact same reasons yall are saying 4 games is more difficult! Playing someone consecutively means you can adjust. Most times, the stronger team simply prevails because they are just better. But when you play a team only once and winner moves on, you MUST be on your A+ game because there is not other opportunity. Essentially, randomness is mostly out of the equation in a long series whereas randomness is in total play with one game. I think yall or nothing in one game is more difficult. And this includes sports like football. It’s also why game 7s in sports are so hyped because it comes down to that ONE game.

Comparing college with a professional league is insane to me. The team that will win the NBA title will live and breathe for nothing but basketball. People like to look at NBA players and envy the money they make, but they don’t realize that their training take way more time than the average job.

upsets/favored teams or not a lot of the OLD way of NCAA that “Talent” wasnt even going to be NBA pros…thats already funny enough let alone a #1 pick being a champ the way magic and kobe can jump into an organization like the lakers that dont have anything but winning in their optics day 1 for magic and drafting kobe to be a future face of the franchise. The levels arent even close.
