It’s completely true, I’ve followed the Thunder since they moved to OKC. The other part was KD having dinner with Russ, Nick and someone else and telling them he was going to stay. Then he flew to the Hamptons with Draymond, Steph ect and changed his mind.

Perk has a tendency to being on some BS but let’s be honest. The media hates Russ, he has definitely been taken for granted. Even if you say he stat pads it takes an elite athlete with a ridiculous motor to do what he does. Also, the media poisoned the Russ/KD dynamic .

And yet these revelations from perk will fall on deaf ears. The media’s narrative of why KD left OKC will always be because of Russ. That’s the story they’ll stick with. Guys like Stephen A. Or Skip Bayless or Shannon, Jalen. They don’t care about these things because it’s not part of their narrative.
