In game 1 Jose had a brilliant play where he felt Wemby closing him so he layed it up through the back board quickly to get a goaltending call

Do you know how good you have to be to average 33 in the finals at 6’2 against a 7’6 demigod

That last play was the stuff of legends. Literally last second ball release and was just putting the Spurs in a spin cycle for 24 seconds straight

    June 19, 2026 at 5:45 pm

game 5, 30 minutes bench hasn’t scored down by double digits, Jalen Brunson 30 pts, what did he do? Pass to Jordan Clarkson who was 0 out of 4 FGA doing the same play they did since the NBA Emirates cup, JB draws 2 defenders, one will be late to defend Clarkson who will sink a floater from the free throw line while Wemby can’t leave Mitchell Robinson in the paint. They did it in regular season, they did it in 1st rd. against the Hawks and did it in ECF against the Cavs. Jalen Brunson not only smart and conserves his energy for the 4th, he created for his teammates even if they’re not at their best.

The clip at 7:00 was the difference between the OKC and Knicks series. SGA is uncomfortable taking that pull up three while Brunson thrives on that shot diet, which makes the Spurs’ emphasis on keeping Wemby in the paint more difficult to execute

thx for the video. these were great plays. one thing is clear from the finals is that brunson took it upon himself to essentially score on everyone on the spurs team especially wemby. several times when brunson was able to get a layup on wemby was pretty demoralizing. if the dpoy nor anyone else on the spurs team can guard brunson, it’s night night for the spurs

The fact that Robinson and KAT were allowed to hook and shove Wemby all series was why they won. Hard to get a rebound or screen or be effective at all with one hand pulling in an opposite direction.

    • @piotrswat169

      June 21, 2026 at 5:50 pm

      Wemby should be suspended twice.

    • @rhapsody8941

      June 21, 2026 at 7:45 pm

LOL kitty kat was on foul trouble for a good portion of the games. Wemby on the other hand had “missed flagrants”. You guys did hackamitch the entire time he was on. Wemby and kornet had a bunch of goaltendings. A bunch of calls in favor of spurs.

got help with the refs and still loss. The fact that the only “smart” plays the spurs have in this video is just wemby being tall says everything.

this team has that 2019 raptors DNA

    Jalen Brunson — Kyle Lowry
    Mikal Bridges — Pascal Siakam
    OG Anunoby — Kawhi Leonard
    Karl-Anthony Towns — Marc Gasol
    Jose Alvarado — Fred VanVleet
    Landry Shamet — Danny Green
    Mitchell Robinson — Serge Ibaka
    Josh Hart — Norman Powell

i’m starting to think if you get guys who have similar play you have a chance to win

Wemby is 7ft.5 with the wingspan of a giant Pterodactyl so the way the Knicks beat him is by using pure hoops IQ , Put him in bad spots , use KAT to draw him outside
+ the way Brunson uses the glass is like magic that few can block.

  40. @xTheOxx

    June 20, 2026 at 10:25 pm

Not sure plays qualify as “smart” if they are basically Wemby having 4-foot long arms.

    • @rhapsody8941

      June 21, 2026 at 7:41 pm

fr some of these are not smart at all. but hey ig ppl will get mad if its just knicks clips

woahhhh woah woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh – #8 – Wemby IS NOT in his own air with self passing

JOKIC is THE KING of the self pass and been doing from before wemby was in the league. Check the tapes, his best is when he does it on post entry passes and taps the balll in the air so as the defender tries to poke/swipe on the catch, the ball is popped over the defenders hand, then now he’s out of position due to shifting weight to try and deflect, it lands back in Jokic hands and he just catches and spins wide open – Neo in the Matrix
