Published

on

Rachel Nichols takes a deep dive into the new landscape of the Western Conference and questions why teams like the Sacramento Kings and Denver Nuggets are off to such rocky starts after showing such promise of improvement last season. Nick Friedell and Paul Pierce believe teams like the Nuggets aren’t sneaking up on people anymore and everyone is more prepared to play them.

This is obvious seeing as how people like Wilbon are picking them to win the West lol

Trade Murray. His contract is wrong and his role is wrong. He is not that good and will never be. He made Nuggets offense so slow and he is below average defender.

Collin has been over hyping this Nuggets team so much to the point of being a number seed. I just don’t see it at all. They don’t have a guy who can take over when necessary. No defense and their best player is slow and overweight. Idk it’s still too early and a lot can change from now and later. I just have a gut feeling this team isn’t going over 45 wins. Even Denver coach stated they haven’t put the effort in either.

srbin ko srbin, isti je djokovic. When things are going well, he acts all tough, when things are going bad, they get visually frustrated, and obvisouly its never their fault

Paul Pierce: Nuggets needs a leader that will be their focal voice
Paul Millsap: *Am I a joke to you?*

Tbh, in my opinion, I think the Nuggets are bad (so far) this season is because the people and media gave them too much hype because they had a breakout year last year. Like bruh, they are so young.

And as i expected the Nuggets aren’t doing well. I suppose they need people to talk like that to have some kind of motivation and play hard. If is that the case? This would be so silly. Find the guts from yourself, not from other sources of energy

I love how whenever anyone talks about the west they never even mention the blazers. This chick goes off on all these teams that were in the playoffs last year but conveniently forgets the other half of the western conference finals

Jokic has had a busy summer with Serbian National Team. He was put into some other roles there, as well as the team eventually disappointed after having huge expectations and after Nikola not really been the leader of that team. Furthermore, he (his brother) has some serious problems with law (NIkola’s brother has indeed been his full time dedicated support. He is probably bit tired and physically not yet in full shape (some say he is overweight even though the reports say he is actually few pounds lighter). Nikola is not taking enough shots and he is indeed being to passive. All together they are playing indeed without a leader on the floor. One thing that is indeed positive is that the statistics from the last games show 9 players scoring almost double figures which means that there are many players there who indeed contribute which is ok when it comes to playing 82 games. All together, not a very good start for Nuggets but also just a game behind last year’s 4-1 start. I really do not expect NIkola to play so good as he played last year, as it all might have been a bit too much for such a person he is. He has been in the spotlight last six months and he just does not feel very comfortable with that. One trivia, which is very indicative indeed; After he confirmed playing for Serbian NT, following huge pressure from the press and fans to do so, NIkola has indeed been a part of the very good Serbian NT and spent next 6 weeks with the team, playing it tough, putting himself really into the spirit in times. However, for unknown reasons, during these 6 weeks, he has not given a single statement in front of any journalist or has not appeared in any press conference after 15+ games he played for the team. It was clear he wants his peace.. Anyhow, I still look forward to what Nikola can offer to the NBA as he is indeed a special player and coach Malone indeed needs to be patient and wait for Nikola to start improving the players around him as that is what he actually does the best.
