One thing that amazes me is how LeBron has changed over his career. When he was a rookie in Cleveland, a lot of people said he didn’t have a clutch performance at all, and to be honest, it’s true. He doesn’t have the mentality of Larry Bird, Kobe, or Jordan, who would rather die trying than lose in the finals. A lot of players who don’t have that mentality will keep it, but LeBron has managed to become one of the most clutch players in the league, which is really impressive.

LeBron James delivered in the clutch in Game 3.

With the game on the line, LeBron drilled a clutch three to send it to overtime, completely shifting the momentum and setting the tone late for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Houston Rockets.

He finished with 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists, knocking down 4 three-pointers in a vintage all-around performance. Rui Hachimura added 22 points, while Alperen Şengün led Houston with 33 points and 16 rebounds.

A signature LeBron moment—coming through when it mattered most.
