Both made valid points. Bam has to be aggressive and Spo has to facilitate him and the rest of the offense to do so.

Finally Bam gets called out. He’s been god awful… Like awful

Rooting for Miami but Boston is to big, more talented and too good defensively for Miami.

Bam Adebayo was the leading scorer for the Heat 2 years ago in the ECF against the Celtics. So no, Bam didn’t just have “some good games throughout their series on the defensive side of things”, per Perkins. Tyler was AN x-factor, but in that series, but Bam was the primary factor. We need that again. From BOTH.

@T Nino That’s the point of my original comment. He’s too passive.

    • K Tay

      May 20, 2022 at 9:22 pm

@Wenzor Key words… “when he’s aggressive”. Him being passive is the issue. He’s lackluster as you say for a lack of effort, not ability

      May 20, 2022 at 9:32 pm

@K Tay so bam consistently under performing against elite big men is a lack of effort? nah it’s one thing if it was a random occurrence but more & more people are seeing through his ability and that he’s only the true bam against smaller less athletic big men. he’s not dropping 20 and 10 CONSISTENTLY on a robert williams, giannas, etc. if you don’t believe that check his comparisons against those players for his career.

      May 20, 2022 at 9:51 pm

@Wenzor Your argument is so far from the original topic. Look… point is, the Heat need effort and aggression from Bam on offense. I didn’t say anything about 20 and 10. He needs to put the effort in. The guy has averaged 5.5 shot attempts per game over the last 4 games. You can speculate about what kind of numbers he’d put up if he asserted himself more. That’s not my point.

      May 20, 2022 at 10:12 pm

@K Tay yeah you’re right this has been dragged on longer than it needed to be. i was just going off your original comment about bam being the leading scorer in the 2020 series. my comments places emphasis on the players he’s going up against to tell you that he’s not being “ aggressive “ enough due to his normal shot availability not being there. i do get what you’re saying though , but bam is not a high volume shooter and if he tries putting up 15-20+ shots up it won’t be efficient.

Oldipo needs to step up too and Tyler hero

Amare actually watches heat games. Im impressed, he mightve found his calling

      May 20, 2022 at 4:53 pm

Who knows if he actually watches heat games are just has only watched film when we play. The nets (since he’s the nets development coach) and watched the heat during the playoffs

  8. Giffond Hall

    May 20, 2022 at 3:49 pm

Bam was never a scorer he was Thier rim protector

  9. Havin York

    May 20, 2022 at 3:55 pm

Herro needs to step up, Perk right

  10. jay pierre

    May 20, 2022 at 4:51 pm

Perk did tyler not score 18 points in game win and what is Stoudemire talking about 🤦🏾‍♂️..guess he doesn’t know that bam Is natural scorer..and just because tyler has shades on in post game interviews that means he’s not focused?

  11. Slatchet

    May 20, 2022 at 4:54 pm

as a celtic homer im suprised perk didn’t say bam he has usually been a handful for boston especially in the bubble

  12. BP_

    May 20, 2022 at 6:05 pm

This is the ONLY important take. Bam HAS to show up on offense bruh. Jimmy needs a running mate

  13. Demetris Russell

    May 20, 2022 at 11:29 pm

tyler can be schemed out with length and good defenders. if bam is aggressive, he can’t be stopped by ANYONE and i mean that wholeheartedly. he just needs to be aggressive and spo needs to get him in more spots

  14. KEV DADE COUNTY

    May 21, 2022 at 1:45 am

Bam is built like Lebron and bam is quick too there’s no reason he should not be averaging 20 points per gm

  15. Jose A. Lucas

    May 21, 2022 at 2:25 am

If Bam and Herro had Jimmy’s mentality and played to their potential, Miami could end this in 5. Problem is Bam has the mentality of a Barbie doll, Herro thinks he’s all that without doing it in the playoffs, Jimmy alone and Miami is out. Cause Boston have multiple scorers all around

  19. aa

    May 21, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Everyone needs step-up. This the playoff’s. Bam, Hero, Kyle, the bench need step-up

  20. Mark Friedman

    May 21, 2022 at 9:50 pm

The bad thing Bam is not the guy,he hasn’t stepped up,12 points a games isn’t going to help the Heat win anything.

Bam was the X factor 2 years ago. Tyler had that 37 point game but bam was the reason we won

  24. Louis Jones
