The Largest Game 7 Comeback in NBA History 😳

On May 19, 2024, the Minnesota Timberwolves delivered one of the most shocking comebacks in NBA history. Trailing by 20 points, Minnesota stormed back to outscore the Denver Nuggets 60–37 in the second half, winning Game 7, 98–90, to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Jaden McDaniels (23 PTS, 6 REB), Karl-Anthony Towns (23 PTS, 12 REB), and Anthony Edwards (16 PTS, 8 REB, 7 AST) led the charge for Minnesota, combining for 62 points.

For Denver, Jamal Murray (35 PTS) and Nikola Jokic (34 PTS, 19 REB, 7 AST) combined for 69 in the loss.

Minnesota’s 20-point comeback is the largest in a Game 7 in the play-by-play era (since 1997–98), making this one of the most unforgettable playoff moments ever.

The Ant 3 pointer is still my favorite all-time Wolves moment.

Between the call and Ant’s reaction after the three, it just gets me hyped every time I see it🔥🔥🔥

That’s because there was a Nuggets fan heckling at Antman all game. After hitting that 3, Antman had to let the fan know they’re going home.

Denver hasn’t beaten a real contender ever in a playoff series, that doesn’t get talked about enough. And don’t hand me “well what about the title run” you can make the argument that was the easiest title run ever. And they beat the clippers twice, THEY ARE THE CLIPPERS.
