What he needs to do is to have some great games with him while playing with Beal and Westbrook. Remember Curry when he was still playing with Monta Ellis? Curry can’t even take over the game because Ellis was taking the lead. Instead, Curry played some good games and ends up as the main guy when the team decided to build around him. That’s what he needs to do! Westbrook and Beal might be done in a couple of years or so, so all he needs to do is to play consistently and hope that he will be the 2nd option when the time comes and eventually take the lead as well together with Hachimura. Otherwise, he needs to go to a team with lesser star players.

2-3 years from now he can become a high level point forward in the mold of Ben Simmons with a shooting (and less athleticism). Dude is promising. He barely touch the ball on the Wiz because of Beal, Russ and being coached by Brooks, but even then his talent is undeniable.

Deni played a secondary playmaker all his life. now they use him as a 3&d in a team that plays Beal and Russ only. Beal is amazing but yet you cant win this way 2 many times… Deni cant play his game and he is not used the right way. in a Jezz type of game he could B more Useful.

This is very clear – this guy has a big set of skills that were hardlly used at the Wizards. he used 2 play as a point forward – a secondary playmaker abroad. but in the Wizards there is no ball movement. they dont use him at his previous roles at all – from what they gave him he took a lot… but they give him crumbs. not even that…
