ALL YOUR FAVORITE players from this DEAD NBA low caliber play era, LeBron, curry, leanord, etc etc etc… wouldn’t STAND A CHANCE against players in the days of RAW NBA…the early 00’s, 90’s and so forth…truth hurts…deal with it

How I miss Aaron Mckie, he was a cold player! This is my fav team of all time, everybody says they’re garbage and Iverson was lone offensive players. I believe otherwise, I have watched the whole run of the sixers during the 00-01 season. Some role players stepped up like Snow and even Jones.

Man Oakley was a dirty player. Starts off by throwing a hidden screen at 3:21 that somehow got called against Lynch (really?? how could that ever be an OK screening technique?) and then a few plays later at 6:30 he flops. At least the refs didn’t blow the whistle on that and let Hill punish him. But otherwise, Oakley was so much proof of how bad reffing has been at times in the NBA, that a player like that would be allowed to not only get away with this stuff on rare occasion or in clutch moments, but build a lasting career on it.

    • Jake Stine

      May 11, 2020 at 6:15 pm

11:51 Oakley flops again, this time getting a whistle. Yeah, McKie, I’d be effing confused too.

    • Jake Stine

      May 11, 2020 at 6:21 pm

13:17 Oakley looks mad that he got whistled for the obvious foul. Maybe he’s just mad he didn’t stuff Snow and throw him to the ground with flagrant force. Hard to tell…

    • Jake Stine

      May 11, 2020 at 6:31 pm

21:59 Oakley flops again, this time getting the favorable call. Really? The ref was RIGHT THERE too, and he still bought Oakley’s dive hook-line-and-sinker.

  51. Jake Stine

    May 11, 2020 at 6:37 pm

Iverson dished five money passes to wide-open sixers in the first period alone. Every one of them ended in a miss (and two didn’t even touch the rim). Those sixers would have been NBA champs that year if they had at least one catch & shoot option. Also, Iverson’s assist totals would have been +3-per-game easily.
