He literally changed the way the game is played, Michael didn’t revolutionize the game of basketball at all he was just really good at the way it was played. Steph’s game literally made being a under the rim center completely irrelevant and made everyone want to run up the court and shoot threes.

Yeah and the League has changed too when steph was in the NBA. When everybody can’t be as dominant as players used to play in the 90s and early 2000’s, they all had to shoot and that’s where Steph took over.

It’s not only because of Steph. One big factor how the game was changed is because of the international play. Don’t forget the fact that during olympics and fiba games, Americans were shocked when players spread to 3pt area during fast breaks.

Everybody game different the point is steph makes you believe in shooting of course tho you gotta round out your game but anybody would rather be able to shoot than post up

Can’t agree with SAS, the only thing that Jordan did that Steph didn’t was create a shoe line that sells beyond its generation.

I am a Michael Jordan over LeBron guy…. I’m over 40 so I watched Jordan play… And I can honestly say that Jordan never played with against or had a shot like Steph Curry

Jordan never played against another player at a high level at his position , you could argue Clyde but he literally can’t dribble with his left hand. Kobe was close but he was too young when he was up against Jordan

@Dashing Dreww it doesn’t matter what era he plays in. He would dominate. He was on another level compared to everyone else, including Kobe in his prime. Kobe was closest but still a long way away. Jordan was 1st team all league D a lot , he dominated both ends of the court.

@Zbw87 ohh Jordan would get buckets any era but we’ll never know how he would do in this era because his era he guarded dudes with their back to the basket. Look at footage of him trying to guard shifty guards like Abdul-Rauf he literally makes Jordan look like he can’t play defense. Now imagine him tryin to guard Curry when curry pulls it from the logo 😵💫

Jordan has had biggest impact on the NBA and game of basketball as a whole, making the nba brand international and what it is today. Whereas Steph has had the biggest impact on the court, changing the way the game is played within the NBA.

With all what you guys are i believe that A I had a bigger impact on the game . Look at steph and the way all of the other small guys thinkits ok to go into the paint . Look at rhe tats and the baggy clothing the whole hip era . Thats all Allen Iverson

100% . Iverson inspired a whole generation , more than Curry. The question for who had the biggest impact on basketball should be AI or MJ with obviously MJ winning that argument, but AI was huge

People still wearing jordans not curry but he get credit for what we seeing at the moment jordan can shoot but he had major above the rim and like to attack and play both ways curry got a handle and shot he changed the game by shooting tho

Steph has changed the game in this era, but he has help from this fan-friendly, offensive-style entertaining type of NBA that exists today. Steph has maximized the potential of what you can do with this weaker defense, more offense style of play. Steph has more impact on the court, in my opinion, than Jordan did because EVERYBODY is trying to shoot 50ft 3pt shots now, including on the video games! Michael Jordan pushed the NBA brand WORLDWIDE and has your favorite players looking up to him and his mentality. In Conclusion, MJ was the most revolutionary in his era, and Curry is the most revolutionary in his era.

I dont understand half of what they said. Talking over each other. Jordan has talents, plays harder and was paid big money for his talents. Revolutionalize the game in terms of aspiration for unlimited achievement with ones talent. Step curry also have talent and he impacted the game in a different way. He revolutionalized the style of play. Smaller play became important. Three piont became something every player have to adjust to do. I mean from any place in the court without a coach choping off yor head. It is just a miss if you dont make it rather impossible shot it use to be. Ball handling becomes more electrifying. Bigs business becomes almost obsolete. Both impact the game. Just that jodan have more hype than curry because people from jordans era is in control of basket ball media now. Should steph play during jordan time i dont think any one will ignore the brilliancy of his play. Is unimaginable. Jordan just played harder than others, same style. Curry changed the styles and is playing hard with little size. Amazing.
