Called this over and over. Holmgren should not have been drafted AT ALL. His body isn’t built for NBA. He will continually be injured, and have a career like Greg Oden had…short and filled with injuries. The lack of brains on OKC front office is bewildering.

can the thunder get a refund on his salary for this season since he was injured in a non league sanctioned game?

Dude got hurt playing basketball, I think the “heart goes out to” statement is ridiculous. It’s an injury sustained while playing a game. Rich kid will be fine. May never be a great hooper, most of us are not.

Not all set backs are “sad”. This happens in like everyday. Pick it up and move on. Again, rich kid will be fine.

Trust these foot injuries feel fast. They just wanna tank. Happened to sixers Pelicans and many more teams trying to get top picks. It’s smart tho can’t blame them

Well… this gives OKC a shot at the #1 PICK 7’3 Victor Wembanyama

LOL, he hurt his foot on a simple play like that. This dude is more fragile than an egg. And all the stuff he’s been talking leading up to this should do nothing but humble this young man. Eat some food and get in the weight room. Obviously no one should wish an injury on anyone, but I believe karma is real. I hope he can grow and mature from this. I’m 5″8 and weigh more than this giant. He was barely even touched. Imagine blocking LeBron when he’s clearly going less than 50% at you? I honestly believe he would be paralyzed at the very least if James was going 100. I say he got out of this lucky

I know the leagues in other countries have nothing on the USA when it comes to money and starpower. But one thing I know is that a player who is as skinny and frail looking as Chet will never be given a chance in a professional league.

Probably doesn’t need to be out the whole season so OKC is being smart by letting him get better and stronger while they tank and get another top 5 pick

Sucks to see really. Seems like foot injuries are super common to rookies. Like Simmons, Embiid, and zion
