If I’m a NBA superstar I would not go to Miami with Pat Riley running the show. Pat Riley is still trying to be the STAR. He does not seem to understand that these guys are the stars…no one is buying a ticket to see Miami Heat basketball because Pat Riley is the one running the show…they are coming to see the players who play there.

Dude makes a lot of money already. If he wants more he needs to prove the naysayers wrong by finishing out the rest of the season by playing well and missing as few games as possible. Show teams you still got it. Get the trade lined up for next season. Sadly I think it’s too late for that with the suspension. Be interesting what plays out and if he does get traded how will he play and does anything change if he doesn’t play well

This the same Pat Riley who finally wrote Rolando blackman an apology letter which Rolando blackman refused by the way in the after math of not playing him in the houston series in 94 when Rolando blackman asked if they could bring the wives along for the ride because they was getting older and to his credit he knew houston so well from his days in dallas which kenny smith even said that if he played they would have been in trouble. But Pat riley had that no wives along mentality then we shouldnt be surprised now if you known him over 35 plus years go figure

In the first place,i was shocked the heat gave him that big a contract few yrs ago,who does butler think he is,he is a good player but not a great player,he should be happy that he is lucky to have a big contract like that
