Darvin Ham does not have the cognitive intelligence to be an NBA head coach. He has been god-awful for his entire tenure with the Lakers. To say otherwise tells me these guys have not been watching the Lakers all season.

1:14 He just said the fakers had a more productive year then last year??? The delusion 😂😂 last year they got exposed playing nothing but dysfunctional teams memphis first round self explanatory warriors were horrid on the road last season the play in game vs Minnesota rudy didnt play for some weird reason they finally go up against a contender and then got swept 😂 they got exposed and this year is more of the same….eventually you will have to play a good team and it’s up to the players to produce not for the media to feel bad and sorry you played a good team like this is a insane mentality peddling this 😂

A good coach will allow a slightly better team to be beat by a slightly worse team by the coaches strategy.
The Lakers were ahead at the half in all 5 games. They could have easily won 3 of the 5 if not 4 out of 5 with a better coach!

You can tell who does and doesnt watch laker games. I watched all 82.
Darvin ham should absolutely be fired.

Should Darvin Ham be brought back? Lebron James will have the answer for that.

Darvin Ham is a garbage coach. STHU just because he is black and you feel the need to defend him.

I just wanna point out Darvin Ham took that job when noone else wanted it , just saying.

Yes, you got it spot on SAS. Darvin Ham IS the coach to take the lakers to the promised land 🙄

I mean u lost 12 times straight to a same team on the same fashion deserves u to get fired

Interesting that when Frank vogel was the coach ,stephen A didnt give him grace ,why are they protecting darvin ham and since when does laker nation celebrate making the WCF ,we celebrate nba championships and Vogel gave us that and the season he got fired ,Lebron and AD got hurt and the Westbrook trade depleted their roster. The fact of the matter is that Darvin ham had most of the starters from last year healthy for a full regular season including Bron and Ad and the lakers still was only a 7th seed ,underachieved with a better roster than last year. He also lost the locker room ,doesn’t use timeouts efficiently, no consistency with his rotation, blatant favoritism by playing certain players over his best role players e.g prince, reddish. Lakers started playing better with Rui Hachimura starting but it took darvin 49 games to figure that out and by then lakers are in the play-in with too much ground to gain, and worst of all no accountability for his mistakes, I remember we lost to the heat without butler and he said that not having Gabe Vincent and vando was more significant then losing Jimmy butler. I mean even Spoelstra takes accountability by saying he made mistakes. Darvin is not cut out for this job plain and simple and whoever disagrees doesn’t watch lakers games.

Darvin Ham ‘n eggs gonna be joining the bread line real soon

  15. @kennyboudreaux1657

    May 1, 2024 at 7:17 pm

Yeah… it’s time for Ham to ride. He makes no adjustments and lets the game get out of hand before calling time outs.

  16. @emagik12

    May 1, 2024 at 7:51 pm

He needs to coach a young team because when Lebron loses it’s always someone else’s fault

0:15-0:20 SAS says DH took the Lakers to the Western Conference finals last year. That’s all the proof you need to know this guy stinks at reporting and doesn’t watch nba.

It’s absolute insanity for anybody who’s saying there’s no reason Ham should be fired. It tells me you have not watched Laker games for 1.

This is the same man who REFUSED to use the 5 man lineup that got Lakers to wcf last year until nearly 60 games into season.. they had a 18-6 record when they played together… this is the same man who REFUSES to call timeouts when necessary 20+ times an opposing team would go on a 15-2 run before Ham would decide to use timeout. This is the same man who REFUSES to Call plays… one of the most basic things as a coach aside from timeout management is calling plays especially when your offense looks lost out there way too many times this season Lakers would have a strech typically when they were up double digits where they’d go cold and the offense would be stagnant. We saw them go 5 mins without scoring in 3rd quarter of game 2 and meanwhile he’s got his hands in pockets quiet as a mouse. His rotations are absolutely awful. He benches guys like DLO and Reaves way to early if there in a slump but guys like Prince can be 0-15 and he’ll still keep them out there and start them. He REFUSES to take accountability. He can not make in game adjustments at all which is another basic step of being a coach. I can go on and on and on. I like the guy I think he’s a great person and likeable guy but not as a coach for a team that’s trying to compete for a championship. It’s baffling that we got dudes up here talking nonsense who maybe watched 5 full games then highlights from the rest and glanced over the big problem. Ham wasn’t the Lakers only problem but he’s there biggest issue rn. I’d say 65% of blame he deserves. Then 35% was key role players underperforming and not having a legitimate back up big. Had you had a solid coach , and your role players had average games the Lakers beat Denver In probably 5. Leading at half in every game. Leas 70% of the series minutes wise and had double digit leads in every game and yet because of the bad coaching and some poor play by role players that cost them.

    May 1, 2024 at 11:54 pm

Not having any timeouts at that point in the game is fireable a offense

Stephen A only defending ham cuz his skin color

  21. @blankman1212

Darvin isnt the coach of the lakers…

    LeBron is.

  22. @BeatByMars

Who the lakers gonna get tho

  23. @mckricks1

    May 2, 2024 at 2:42 am

They seem to be fake with this. Like they are trying to say he should stay, but seems like they are really pushing for him to go.

  24. @josephyu9418

    May 2, 2024 at 3:31 am

But honestly there are many games when he practically shuffled players stupidly and a lot of times doesnt call timeout at the right time

At least he was good for that in game tournament jeanie said he a bussin!!!
