Wiggins is apart of that depth lineup or should I say “fast five”. Without him we wouldn’t be where we at defensively and he plays his role perfectly. We are not asking him score a lot but to defend, set screen, slip , cut , and attack on mismatch and Wiggins did that perfectly the last 2 games.

      April 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm

True but they call them the “Death Lineup 2.0” not the “fast five”

    • Hoopmania99

      April 19, 2022 at 1:58 pm

I like fast five, that accounts for all of them.

      April 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm

Wiggins being the 4th scoring option with the 5th being draymond is absolutely ridiculous.

    • andro mendoza

      April 19, 2022 at 3:05 pm

wiggins is the one rebounding for them. The 3 guards were balling, but wiggins is still double digits and his +/- is +24 his a comlimentary piece for this line

If it’s not bout scoring they don’t care sadly

Embarrassment of riches to be able to bring a 2 time MVP off the bench and still win playoff games comfortably

    • Sean Rojas

      April 19, 2022 at 1:02 pm

Yup, I think Steph’s lack of ego and his humility has been the #1 reason the Warriors have been able to retain success for all these years.

    • DwayneStorm

      April 19, 2022 at 1:14 pm

@Sean Rojas exactly. Steph has done it right. He’s allowed his teammates to shine beautifully. Like dude said, what superstar willingly accepts to come off the bench in a PLAYOFF GAME. Lol, Russ might wanna take a few notes about being a willing star

Every Wiseman and Kuminga naysayer needs to pay attention to Poole rn, A 2nd round pick who was the worst player in the league in his rookie season is now sneaking up behind Wilt in record books. Warriors developmental is light years ahead of everyone.

      April 19, 2022 at 1:55 pm

@Connor Bradby People screamed from the top of the mountain and laughed at him and the Warriors for drafting him In 2019 gtfo. Just say you’re about to have a meltdown bc of the Dubs future

      Wiseman is a bust.

@Doctor Sam : You’re literally just saying random things that aren’t true. I have no idea what you’re trying to prove. Nobody cares, this isn’t the sport you should be talking about

    • Robert Campbell

      April 19, 2022 at 8:58 pm

      Poole was a 1st round pick…

I remember when the lovely Monica once said that.. the Warriors were going to have problems with their size against better teams in the playoffs!!

      April 19, 2022 at 12:51 pm

I don’t listen to her takes bruh

    • the ugly duckling

      @Kyle Jones cool….?

    • the ugly duckling

      April 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm

She actually does dish good points out sometimes, the size probably would be a point if denver had 2 other players. I just hope the dubs make even easier work of the grizzles or wolves

  5. Maxwell Jimenez

    April 19, 2022 at 12:58 pm

Wiggs has gotten less touches, yes. But he’s doing his job. 15 to 20 and be a solid defender.

  6. ZombieZifiction

    April 19, 2022 at 1:03 pm

Warriors can win 10 championships straight with this team. Just pay them

    • kidpresident1289

      @tdot_nyc 😂😂😂

    • Agz

      April 19, 2022 at 2:38 pm

      Yeah sure😂

    • ZombieZifiction

      April 19, 2022 at 2:44 pm

@Agz why not? Wiseman and kuminga might be all stars, Wiggins is still young and curry and klay will be the best 3pt shooters in the league in their 40s. Poole is a cheap curry

    • Agz

      April 19, 2022 at 2:51 pm

@ZombieZifiction winning a title is tough and multiple titles Klay, Steph and Dray are getting older and injuries will take out good teams so saying 4- 5 titles is not realistic.

    • ZombieZifiction

      April 19, 2022 at 4:35 pm

@Agz ok fine 10 straight if no injuries

Stephen A better put some respect on Wiggins real talk 💯

    • Adaan415

faxx thoo, we can’t play this deadly lineup without his DEFENCE!!

APB on wiggins is crazy 😭😭😭

  9. Chris Beltran

JJ makes Stephen A look bad every time he comes on the show…it really exposes how little Stephen A has spoken about the intricacies of the game over the years

  10. The Last Stylebender

    April 19, 2022 at 1:46 pm

This small line-up will not work without Draymond. Once he is out game over.

  11. Michael Gant

    April 19, 2022 at 1:53 pm

    How Stephen A. Smith says “He’s just not there”😂 @ 2:10

  12. lance smith

    April 19, 2022 at 1:56 pm

This team is crazy if healthy. Poole brings a whole knew dimension to their offense.

  13. Baron Bolanos

    April 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm

The fact that Wiggins can go off at any point is what’s scary now that we know what Poole can do

    • okdok gg

      April 19, 2022 at 2:22 pm

he can’t go off at any point lol. He’s too inconsistent. But steph klay and poole are the main guys now so it doesn’t even matter that wiggins scores more than 10-15 points in a game.

  14. w3x8m2173

    April 19, 2022 at 2:34 pm

Wiggins leads the team in rebounds through two games. His defensive presence is essential to making this lineup work even if it isn’t flashy

  15. Ceegee

    April 19, 2022 at 2:38 pm

SAS is starting to sound like Redd Foxx

  16. kendricklurkins

    April 19, 2022 at 2:39 pm

The warriors have transformed wiggins shooting from decent to excellent.

  17. Danny Blau

    April 19, 2022 at 3:48 pm

In Denver’s defense with the Wiggins slips JJ is mentioning, they are utilizing that sparingly. So you might have 5 possessions in a row where you are getting 3’s and slashes with Steph/Klay/Poole. then on the 6th play they will suddenly take advantage of that slip and hit Wiggins. So i think it’s a little more forgivable when you are having to spend a bunch of possessions worrying about Steph/Klay/Poole who have all been kinda going off. What exactly are you going to do? Wiggins is absolutely perfect for that lineup though. And then if you want to extend out their death lineup run of minutes, you now can rotate in Igoudala/Porter/Payton into it to spell guys. Something they didn’t really have or utilize in past iterations of their death lineup.

Jordan Poole such a sponge. I’m proud of bro he soaked up Curry, Draymond, Klay, Iggy, even DLo when he was there. He a upcoming superstar Dubs got a gem!

    April 19, 2022 at 4:26 pm

A shame how much wiggins gets ignored by the media.

Still blows my mind that Poole isn’t a MIP finalist

  23. Karl Chan

    April 19, 2022 at 7:07 pm

Wiggins is the Warriors version of Mikal Bridges. Solid 3&D guy who championship teams need. Put respect on his name.
