It’s a very simple fact that the pieces added aren’t what they actually need. For the one thousandth time the LAKERS NEED SHOOTING. This era of basketball everybody has to be able make perimeter shots. One of the biggest aspects now to basketball is shooting yourself back into games when the lane is clogged up. AD not playing for a chip, he plays for money, gets hurt for the most basic things( Hip spasms) what is that?Lakers on the hook until 2028 and giving this guy the richest extension in history. Bad move Lakers, AD is not that guy.

AD is too layer back kind of guy, he doesn’t have the personality to dominate the way a big man should, at this point in his career he is just a wide body in the paint , at 33 years old he plays more like a 42 year old
